Some people count from switching to 12/12 but it can take a week or two for sex to show and flowering to begin so it's best to count from when flowering actually starts to give you a better idea of maturity. Others may disagree with me on that! LED looks good to me. Good to see it in action in...

The waiting is the killer!! ;) Are you counting the flowering period from when you switched the lights or from when flowers started to appear? How have you found that LED? Worth the money? I've read that they bleach the plants etc but I like to find out from people who've actually tried it...

Hey all. I'd like to graduate from CFLs in my tiny space. I have a 1ft square cab that's 2ft tall. Can't go for a bigger area til we move house so I was looking at LEDs as an option to upgrade in the meantime. I'd like 1 unit rather than a number of small bulbs. Too many wires running around...

I wouldn't want to say yes or no to that since I can't see it in front of me. There's a lot of patching up to be done of all the clear bits (this might take away from the stealth element) and I'm not sure about the interior dimensions. You could get the plant started off while you wait to find...

There are some great guides in the Advanced Marijuana Cultivation section of the forum. The ones with pics are really useful. The trick is to be pretty gentle but unafraid! :D Whatever method you go for you'll do totally fine!

Just had my measuring tape out. If you want to fit the 125w bulb, the ceramic fitting etc in comfortably, the case needs to be about 50cm/20 inches long. Like this one...

Nice. It's a tidy set up. You'll have a fair bit of training to do to keep those plants under control in there but that's a going to be a great learning experience for you. If those are auto plants they'd probably be better under 20/4 light/dark for the entire grow to get the best yields.

If you have 20-50% amber trichs I'd get them flushed now if I were you.

I had mushrooms in my last grow as well. I was disgusted... It's a real 'ewwww!' moment when you first spot them. They kept on coming too so I just kept pulling them. Didn't do any harm at all. There must have been spores or something in your soil and the temp and humidity made a nice growing...

You haven't mentioned stealth or smell worries. If stealth isn't a factor you could just hang some mylar in there, keep the door cracked open to run the cables in / allow air to get in etc and grow autos. If you're in a dorm room or sharing then that would be a no-no. Failing that, your...
