3rd grow, passive hydro (hempy bucket) yellowing issues

Thank you three for the quick response! Dalek thank you for the link page. I originally had my ph at around 5.8-6.0 and was scolded heavily on another forum for having it up that high stating I was locking things out. The plants looked much better back then and I think I may have been too hasty...

3rd grow, passive hydro (hempy bucket) yellowing issues

Hello all, I've done a few soil grows before I switched to hempy, my soil grows always turned out pretty good, nothing spectacular, but provided me with enough to be happy. Now that I've switched to hempy it seems I've got nothing but problems, all the time. I pH my water, I've tried RO and I...

Hempy bucket LED VEG/400w HPS Grow

to be honest I would have gotten the taller/skinnier one, but for whatever reason this one was on sale. The logo is a little askew on the front, dunno if that was the reason it was discounted or not. The light arrives in 12 hours! I'll have pics of the packaging and what it all came with. This...

Hempy bucket LED VEG/400w HPS Grow

It will actually be passive, top fed hydro using the "hempy bucket" method, I've opted out on the vermiculite, so it will be a 100% perlite medium with a drainage hole located 1 1/2 inches above the bottom of the 3ltr/2.5 gallon buckets I'm using. And thanks for hopping on board, I've done a...

What kind of problem/ Def, is this?

it did suck, I tend to learn the hard way. but once the lesson is learned I'm sure not to mess up again. stop by and see the journal (when I make it tommarow) and see the new hempy bucket grow, mistakes will be made, lessons will be learned!

What kind of problem/ Def, is this?

on my second grow (was during the summer) I had a hard time with temps, ended up fucking the plants up more cuz I had air blowing almost directly on them (it was bouncing off the glass on the reflector and hitting them with the hot air) caused me alot of grief

What kind of problem/ Def, is this?

what type of air circulation other then the fan that is blowing over the towel you are using? how strong is the fan blowing on that side of the plant with the curled leaves? I'd almost say it looks like high temps, the low humidity may just be accelerating the issue. Could be the amount of...

    Fungus Gnat?

I've tried everything under the sun (or HPS bulb in my case) I used to grow in dirt, moved to hempy buckets (100% perlite) in hopes to get rid of them. It didn't, here's what else I've tried diatomaceous earth whole bottles of streight h202 mosquito dunks 1 whole package (8 dunks in each)...

Fungus gnat problem getting out of control help!! Top Feed Hydro

silver, have you noticed any bleaching of leaves on the plants that are affected by them? I've got some new plants that are in a 80/20 perlite vermiculite blend and the ones that are affected are bleaching out on the bottom most leaves. also, they love perlite I heard diatomaceous earth cut em...

Fungus gnat problem getting out of control help!! Top Feed Hydro

Figure I'd give my exp with fungus gnats, or rather the larvae from them. Problem started in soil, finished the grow changed to hempy for next grow. bleached the room. 2-3 weeks into next grow, nute defficiency? maybe, fungus gnats.. yes 100% perlite hempy buckets tried the following...

Orange edges fading into yellow and then to green at the veins

Well Merry Christmas! Last nights watering was upsetting to say the least. Fungus gnats, or what I'm thinking are fungus gnats are thriving in the perlite. I'm wondering if this is where the problem is coming from now, and why all my attempts to correct the problem has failed. Anyone ever...

Orange edges fading into yellow and then to green at the veins

Well it's X amount of days later, foliar spray seemed to halt the discoloration for now. I've gone to a couple local garden stores in a hunt for calmag to no avail. I was thinking prehaps hydrated lime? Might be a long shot, anyone know if this stuff would be safe/suitable for a supplement like...

Orange edges fading into yellow and then to green at the veins

Went ahead and did a cal/mag foliar spray to see if that will help things out, good news the other plant is about 50/50 brown/white trichromes so harvest time! Will keep this thread updated with pictures as progression continues.

Orange edges fading into yellow and then to green at the veins

I'll take the plants out again today and get a few more pictures of them, they haven't had a proper nute dose in a little over a week, today was the day I was going to feed them again, but prehaps I shouldn't? Just give em plain water (ph'd) again and see how they progress? They are however...

Orange edges fading into yellow and then to green at the veins

And that's what I was thinking, prehaps 5.8-6.0 isn't low enough? on the other plant don't know if you can see it really well but the leaves aren't as dark (never were) this plant in particular has had waxy dark green for a while, just started to claw when the problem started. Well I suppose...
