Hempy bucket LED VEG/400w HPS Grow

Greetings!

Seeds - Bag seed, mid grade quality
Lighting - Floro for seeds/babies, 90w veg blackstar lighthouse LED, flower 400w HPS (aircooled hood, eye hortilux 400w HPS light)
Nutes - AN Jungle Juice (Bloom/Micro - Will use grow if needed)

I just got my new cabinet from Lowes, its an enviroElements base cabinet, ran me about 60 bucks (it was on sale).
Dimentions are 34.5" x 17.5" x 36.25" just right for what I'll be using, with a mother shoved in the corner for cloning further down the line.

I have no ventilation set up inside the cabinet yet, the floro tube is mounted on a shelf about 1 foot up giving the plugs (and seeds) warmth and humidity with the dome.

I've got a bunch of PC fans I will most likely use for the top of the cabinet when the LED light gets cranking (it arrives the day after tommarow)I've got a spare 300w power supply I can rig up when and if the time arises that I need active air flow rather then through the passive ports.

I will have seedling/plants that are a few weeks in veg pictures up tonight, and will have pictures of the LED being powered up and the starting "true veg" pictures up on friday.

I look forward to seeing what kind of plants I can get out of this LED light, I don't plan on flowering with it and that seems to be where the LED systems are lacking.

ill take a seat. What type of hydro u going? DWC?

It will actually be passive, top fed hydro using the "hempy bucket" method, I've opted out on the vermiculite, so it will be a 100% perlite medium with a drainage hole located 1 1/2 inches above the bottom of the 3ltr/2.5 gallon buckets I'm using.

And thanks for hopping on board, I've done a couple grows before, mostly soil, this will be my first time actually getting a grow up and going with pure hempy buckets and I will now have the advantage of a separate grow room from my flower room, I'm looking forward to the results from that and from the nutrients that I am going to use on this grow, its my first attempt using "pro" hydro nutes, and I decided to go with the Jungle Juice brand.

Nice. i have a similar cabinet setup myself. mines a bit taller but skinner by the look of it.

to be honest I would have gotten the taller/skinnier one, but for whatever reason this one was on sale. The logo is a little askew on the front, dunno if that was the reason it was discounted or not.

The light arrives in 12 hours! I'll have pics of the packaging and what it all came with.

I think we might have a useful tool for SOG grows that need to be stealth, with its low heat, low maint, low power you can start quite a few potential clones and then toss em under a dedicated 400w+ HPS to finish.

This followed by the simplicity of the hempy system, would be an interesting step.
