I have this beautiful northern lights plant that is in its third week of flowering, one of my favorite girls. but the issue is that it is sooooooooooo bushy, not sure if i should trim? I want to get rid of some of the extra so more sights get access too light, any suggestions?:wall:

i had similar issues before and usualy it is nute related but after tweeking my nute levels i realized they were too close to lights, :shock:

yeh not too bad, i would consider an emergency when you lose a 6 foot tall northern lights plant to root rot, sigh.

haha yeah, the roots are looking a little brown, no algea or anything, i think its still in shock from the heat of being outside, outside and dwc does not mix, it is yellowing and stems are purpeling, it is starting to die, im going to flush itr with h202 h20 mix tomorow and see what...

well i just put the biggest into flower, it is in a climate controled 68 degree room, but its still showing yellowing drooping leaves with purple stems, when i change res it has broken down stems in cloudy water, im going to be so sad if i lose this one too, i have put so much money and effort...

I have been having to change the res on my big boys every 2 days, but its about 6 foot tall, and it drinks quite a bit, i just changed it to bloom cycle, 12/12 and im getting yellowing with purple stems, any ideas?

hey guys, just put a 6 foot northern lightinto bloom cycle, my question is, it has been 1 day in flowereing, filled a full res with a low doseage of bloom nutes {sensi bloom 2 part} and letthe plant sit, it hasnt drank a drop, does anyone know if the plants only drink during the 12 hour light...

not sure about res temp, its not recirculating, just a 5 gal bucket with airstone, i know the temp is realy high now, one huge factori forgot to mention was that these were indoors, and due to recent living arangements i moved them outdoors! i am in the middle of getting a new room setup, dwc...

well said, in my 5 gallon buckets those badboys drink so much, its almost a hassle refilling em, lol

never used it, but i have 5 gallon buckets, allows larger root growth, larger plant growth you know, looks like a cool little package tho

ok, i got 3seperate 5 gallon dwc setups under a 400 watt mh, been vegging for 6 weeks, 2 of them have exploded, but the problem is one of them is being dwarfed by the other 2, just wondering if i should go ahead and take it over to my pops house and put it in his garden, let gro their,happy bday...

so, my buckets are dark as hell, but i think my temps are too high, i get beautiful white root growth. next day, gooey greenish slime on them!!!! i use frozen bottles, axchanged once daily, it doesnt keep em cold long enuff, thinking of moving to coolers {thanks beavrhuntr,neumann} just...

yeah the 5 gallon are easy to lift exchange the res, but i theorize it mite be dificult after another 8 weeks of veg in a 15 gal cooler,to lift that bad boy up,lol. also the coolers have drain plugs, but i want to be able to clean the cooler, i guess it realy doesnt matter.
