dont add any nutes until plant is at least 12-18" tall....let it tell you what it needs from there....everybody has different soil,i use basic store stuff and add my owe stuff at home..and yes always important to keep control of ph levels ..

wow didnt knokw cloning was so difficult....topping a plant has been proven to grow and root better then taking small clones from the bottom,,,,but any branch (not leaf ) will do for a clone......and cutting clones during flower doesnt matter,,it will just take a bit longer for the flowered...

1 tea spoon per gallon of baking soda will bring your ph up..i wouldnt worry about the flush,,,let the soil dry rite out so that your plants are drooping then add the baking soda and water....but as wwnugs says, most of these kits for ph are cheap.
