    Toquer's Grow

Okay so I'm going to give a virtual tour of my place as best I can. This is my third location and I hope to be able to keep this place up and running for several years. We moved into the empty warehouse in October of 2013. It had an old 100A panel but sufficient 3-phase power in the building in...

    Unusual leaf coloration

So I've been growing this strain for several years and it has recently started to exhibit a leaf trait since we've moved to our new operation. The plant shows no sign of stress and the coloration moves constantly. It occurs at during the dark cycle when the plant is growing. I've not sat for...

    Peruvian Sea Bird Guano?

absolutely you can use it throughout veg and early into flower. cut it out be week 4 latest if you are using it in a compost tea. the extra P during veg isn't going to do much for you but it will accumulate. there isn't a hole lot of K in there so i supplement with greensand azomite. later in...

Female newbie here again. What the heck is going on?

on #'s 1, 2, & 3 where ur seeing new leaf growth will develop into a shorter stem off the same node. it is also known as the elite genetic. not all plants carry it. it's something great to have is it increases potential yeild. all plants once they're mature will continue to develope pistils...

In Soil - Do you water and feed over the soil, under the soil or in a combination?

i feed from the top, if its not accepting enough liquid and runoff is coming too quickly, then i put a drip ring on there and let it sit in some runoff for about 30 minutes before i dump the remainder and place the lady back on the grass.

any idea what problem this plant has?

i figured it out as a few other plants had the same problems appear. i got lazy one day and was running short on time to water the girls. so i busted out the garden hose. 800+ PPM's. god only knows what is in that water. my mothers can handle it as they're all much older, but the younger plants...

any idea what problem this plant has?

ok i'm not a noob and i've grown several plants. in the current run there is 1 plant that seems to be acting up. she's fed the same as the rest and there are a lot of "the rest" when i say that. they are all from seed. It is my F1 generation on a new creation... none the less. after we crossed...

    Chem Dawg: The Colorado Legend

ive given up on my chem 91 and chem d mothers. they don't produce viable clones at all. Same environment as every other plant and this thing roots maybe one out of 200 or so clones. I love the strain so much but i've wasted so much time and effort trying with the two of them. i've sent them in...

    Growing Cucumbers Up A Trellis

dad grows them up a vine. no pictures sorry but they take up probably about a foot in width by the entire length that you plant it. his trellis is about 4' long and it's like /\/\/\ so that in each section there is another cucumber plant. it's not as steep of an angle as it looks here, but i'm...

super quick question please just a quick answer

hell i'm by the beach and my tap water is in excess of 850ppm at almost all times and about ph of 8 to 8.2. they say it's the natural influence. yeah water ur plants with that and FFOF and watch them die in veg!! but when it rains...i get every pot, pan, bucket, container, etc... and i collect...

um this is confusing... how did you move them from soil to hydro first off... 2nd, did you add anything to the water other than pH down?

    vegging question

no...if you properly train the plant during veg and build a nice even canopy on top to flower then yes...you should result in a larger yield. but just letting it veg longer and get bigger and then have to cut or bend it later in flower because you didn't realize it was going to grow more over...

super quick question please just a quick answer

i'd use the rainwater as well as long as ur growing in soil. if ur not in soil then throw a bunch of peroxide in the rain water, just the regular store kind. depends on how much rain water you've got with the bunch part...be reasonable.

Cooling with chiller and icebox.... not working!

not a big enough chiller likely, nor a big enough resi. on their site, the 600 to 1000W uses 1/2 HP chiller and a 55gal resi. not to mention a 3/10 HP pump doing 1620 GPH. That's a ton of water movement.

    Should I add more soil?

the stem looks pretty woody already. it'd take some serious work to get Adventitious roots to pop out of it. if you really want to, you can scratch the stem to expose the cambium layer and put a rooting hormone on it. it'll root more easily that way, but honestly...i'd just leave it.

When do you expect complete legalization in California?

i don't like it one bit either. but in the united police states of america that's the way we run this place. into the ground as fast as possible. btw...you can get a DUI from xanax and valium and all the other ones, but it's the same thing..DMV has no limit set at what intoxication is. drug...

When do you expect complete legalization in California?

it'll become legal only when the police force is able to get a DUI charge to stick at the DMV. if you currently are caught DUI from cannabis all you get are civil fines as the DMV throws the conviction out thus rendering the courts ineffective. however, as soon as you have a breathalizer for ur...

Female noob here again! I think I have a hermi...

i agree with Uncle Ben 100%!! but from my experince indoors vs outdoors and growing plants in both areas at the same time, there is a need to do trimming, training, removal and overal manicuring for both instances...that being said...there is far less of it to do outdoors.

4000W Flowering Room Design - Light Venting Question

i looked into water cooled. just don't see it making the cut year round. too much humidity build-up possible when the outside temperatures are in excess of 90. really some cool setups by hydro innovations though. it is possible in the next grow, but that would be a totally open environment much...
