If you are growing outdoors and you aren't paricularly concerned with how tall the plants get, is there any advantage to LST, or Topping? I've seen a couple posts that swear you get higher yield. Seems to me that letting the plant grow naturally would give higher yield.

I just picked up some 5 gallon plastic pails at Lowe's Home Improvement for $2.34 ea. Drill some holes in the bottom and you good to go. Can't find any 5 gallon flower pots that cheap. They're light gray, gonna take some black and green spray paint and do a leaf camo pattern on them.
