While I've never actually taken a clone from a flowering plant, all the research (Rosenthal, Cervantes, HT, etc) I've done has led me to believe that taking clones from a flowering plant is ill-advised. However, let us know how that works out. Cheers.

It has been my experience that many ballasts accept either HPS or MH type bulbs, but I have heard of ballasts that will accept both. However, without knowing the exact model number of your ballast, I couldn't say with absolute certainty that your ballast is the latter type.
