Is there a possible way to make/buy a temperature dimmer switch, so it comes on full when at high temps and dims lower on cooler temps? Just a random thought but im willing to try if its possible. Thanks

Would it be possible to use an English room thermostat like this to turn my fans on when the heat starts to get high. I thought about just cutting the mains wire from the plug to the fan and installing it in there, like i have with a dimmer switch. Thanks
