6700K UVB reptile light - Yes or no?

I just read on High Times that a UVB light used for reptiles would be beneficial to growing better plants. I found at the local pet store a Exo Terra Natural Light Full Spectrum Daylight Bulb - 25W 6700K and, before buying it, I was wondering if anyone tried it and if it's worth adding it to my...

    G13 Pineapple express YIELDS

I had been curious about coco for a while but never dared trying it. Good to know that, for once, something's cheaper in europe than the US and didn't know about the loss of some of the taste either, but I'm even more intrigued now after you told me about the evident increase in yield...

    G13 Pineapple express YIELDS

I assume coco is the medium and canna the nutes. I never used any of those three items but it seems you've got your set up right, especially when going 12/12 from the beginning, which I've tried before under 600w hps but without getting such a nice yield. is coco so much better than soil? the...

    running on a dimming ballast

I thought so but i got doubts when i saw the technical features list talking about input and output power so i wasn't sure if it needed a constant input of 620w to deliver accurate power. Key Specifications/Special Features: Electronic ballast for 600W HPS or MH lamp Voltage: 230V 50/60Hz...

    running on a dimming ballast

i repost this here as i have no answer yet and it seems relevant: I need to change my ballast and have been researching digital dimmable ballasts, do you know if the input wattage stays the same when dimming down or if it goes down to match the lower output? for example: a 600w ballast seems...

    CFL Veg, HPS flower????

I agree. One question, if you don't mind: I need to change my ballast and have been researching digital dimmable ballasts, do you know if the input wattage stays the same when dimming down or if it goes down to match the lower output? for example: a 600w ballast seems to have an input of 620w at...

Thai/Haze free beans not doing great

They've been in darkness for the last 2 days already. My concern was the lack of air circulation inside the tent, but that should be taken care by the 2 fans, which should keep odour under control too. As it got cooler in the last few days, temp in the tent is around 65 now Thanks dude

Thai/Haze free beans not doing great

Today the girls are getting the chop. They'll be what they'll be. I usually leave the buds in a cardboard box for a week before curing in glass jars but with 4 plants I'm kinda out of space. Will it be good enough to hang them inside the tent with fan and extraction fan on? would they dry up too...

Thai/Haze free beans not doing great

me too. it was an experiment. I had these free seeds and never tried thai or haze before, so i germinated 3 out of 5 and they all happened to be girls, when I was hoping for just one to try it. I didn't like the idea to kill 2 girls that just wanted to grow and make me smile so i went ahead...

Thai/Haze free beans not doing great

Did you mean harvest? I haven't fed them in a week or so as someone was telling me that they may be nutes sensitive and sati vas don't need as much food as other strains. I think that I'm late with everything though, no more than 2-3 weeks to go, so i'm thinking one or two more feeds and then...

Thai/Haze free beans not doing great

quick update: the one getting molasses seems to have improved a bit, the one with calm/mag not so much. does cal/mag need more than one application to produce results?
