When you guys are doing the 72 hours of dark, do you also quit feeding in a hydro system, or do you lower the number of times you feed.

Also you should note that you need to mix a new bottle every time you use it. A bottle really only has 2 hour shelf life according to H&G

Here are my current plants using H&G and 15min feeding every hour under 24hr light. I've just moved those 5 into flower, and I'm feeding 6 times during the 12 hour peroid, and once at night to make sure the roots dont dry out. Here are pics of them Week 1 into flower.

I figured I would post a update of my first grow, I just moved them into my flower room.

When I called H&G, they said to not use CalMag as their is plenty of Mag in the Aqua formula, they suggested when using RO water, to use something like Cutting Edge's Plant Amp which is just a Calcium additive. Has anyone else used anything like this?

Yea I dont believe my plants are stretching under the T5. I was basically just looking for some questions / comments about my grow. As I've stated this is my first grow, and I'll be flipping them into flower shortly.

there sesems to be alot of debate that 24/0 produce slightly faster results then 18/6 and that a rest peroid isn't needed. Whats wrong with the T5 vs going to a MH 250? I can always move the T5 higher if they reach for it.

Running 240 will be less per month. I'm running 6000w of Lights and I'm running it on a Intermatic Timer. I installed a 40a breaker, ran 8-2 from the panel to the timer. If it was me I would buy a 240v timer and take the cable from the dryer plug and wire it into the timer. Then from the timer run 12-2 cable into a Duplex 240v outlet. This would be clean, and give you a timer for both of your ballasts. Here are some links to the parts Timer...
