I have a bottle of House & Garden Magic Green spray and was told to spray my plants to make them amazing as well as protect them from molds as well as any bugs. I'm not sure since my plants are already buitiful and perky so it would be a pertection to keep them looking like they do. I'm thinking since the lights are on should I only use during lights out? Any info on this House & Garden Magic Green would help alot.

If they have to put the word magic in the name to sell it, it probably doesnt do much of anything. I guess when you spray the leaves they get all shiny and pretty. OOOOOH look, its shiny, it must be good, and you did it with magic!

You obviously didn't read what I wrote. My plants are buitiful already and I haven't used any spray. I have a friend that works at a hydro store and anytime some new stuff comes in he calls me up and tells me about it. "I spend alot of money and time at the hydro store because I love all the gadgets and stuff. Anyways what I was asking was has anyone used House & Garden Magic Green and what happens ?

I read it and made a general comment about marketing and how companies use words like magic to seduce the gullible public into trying anything new and shiny. Your comment, "I spend alot of money and time at the hydro store because I love all the gadgets and stuff", goes to show that you are one of the people these companies and overpriced hydro stores are targeting. But you DO get to brag about how much you spend.

House & Garden Magic Green got sprayed all over my 4 pretty mother plants and it's suposed to do some amazing stuff by today? Well so far I can see there's a dingy layer over everything I guess that's the protection against molds as well as bugs. Other than that there's one leaf that now has what looks like a light burn:-( so I'll probly snip that leaf off soon. Other than that I don't see any magic yet?

I use the full House and Garden line. It's very, very good. Magic Green is used every other week to provide a boost in nitrogen to the leaves. It also contains molasses and live beneficial bacteria for protection against disease and mold. The molasses also fights mold. It helps the leaves from yellowing quite so quickly during the latter stages of flowering. It's the only product of which I am aware that you can spray on the plants during flowering.

magic green does work really well from my experience, really gives the plant a nice deep shade of green if ur lacking N

i use the full line of H&G nutes.the magic green is a great product if you use it right.been using it for quite sometime now and my plants are always a nice shade of green also.i ran out of it once and the plants were more of a yellowish green.i also have never had powder mildew or bugs while using it.in my opinion its a great product to use.even if your plants are already vibrant and green.this will help in maintaining your beautiful plants.later

hey how much magic green would you recommend using for a first time spray? they are about 4 wks into veg and some leaves are pretty yellow

well the feed chart says 5mL per gallon.just make sure that you spray them at lights out.i would leave a fan going in the room to make sure they get dry.how many leaves are yellow? i would probably not use the 5ml per gal.try like 3ml per gallon.you only need to spray them like twice a week.

i might have sprayed them too much thinking it said 5 ml per liter? the leaves are curling up a bit and they do look greener but not so much on the edges of the leaves

Is the shelf life of mix very short lived like other nutes? Curious to whether I should mix this for every spray or can I use it week to week? It has been different everytime I ask someone.

Always use a fresh bottle each time you spray. In my opinion, 2 weeks is too long to leave Magic Green mixed with water and sitting around. Here is a little info on it…. A premium foliar nutrient spray and beneficial organism booster, Magic Green works by stimulating biological organisms within the plant itself. This product will optimally nourish your plants from the outside in and strengthen your plants’ natural defenses, instantly greening-up plants in all phases of growth. Magic Green ensures extra vitality for your plants and assures plants get all they need for a successful flowering period. All ingredients and additives are made with pharmaceutical and/or food grade ingredients in small batches to ensure a consistent quality and experience.

Do you think it effects the taste of the plants when you use it in flowering time. When you smoke if you don't know what i am talking about.

I would never spray anything past week 3 of flower....That's when things start getting dense and you don't want any molds........Peace

Also you should note that you need to mix a new bottle every time you use it. A bottle really only has 2 hour shelf life according to H&G
