Get a timer for your lights if you don't have one, also get some sort of reflectors for the walls and roof. Totally light proof the closet no light gets out no light gets in very crucial to have no light leaks. Get a thermometer and a hydrometer to monitor temp and humidity. Get a pH test kit...

GET HIM A TIMER! Lighting is no joke something as small as a light leak can stress your plant if he just turns it on and off when ever odds are the plant will hermie on you and be full of seeds. Also lighting issues like that can confuse the shit out of your plant if it gets 12/12 for 4 days...
