I just reread your post..... botanicare has a few different base nutrient lines. All of them have a pretty high calcium ratio. If you are using the CN17 then you do not need Cal Mag at all.... the base is like 3.7% cal I think and that is plenty for RO water. I think you really did OD on cal...
