is my one Indica girl ready for harvest???

thank you for opening my thread.

Ok, so I'm on my VERY first grow/cycle. I purchased 6 Shava Shunk strains from my local club for med use. However, one of the 6 turned out to be an Indica strain. I have NO idea what kind of Indica strain it is. It is short, fat, and smells and looks COMPLETELY different from the other 5 Sativa dominate strains.

I was planning on harvesting my girls at week 10. It is currently week 8. I have heard that Indicas harvest EARLIER than the Sativa's. I couldnt believe how the Indica plant looked today. ALL the leaves just turned color basically overnight. I guess this means that this girl is ready for harvest? What do ya'll think?

Thank you for your reply Chitownsmoking. But dude, by looking at the pics you think I should let her go for another 2 weeks? But dont they harvest earlier than the Sativa's?

yes for the most part. purer indicas are done in 6-8 weeks more hybris shit takes longer

i wouldn't let her go any longer then 9 weeks but check the trichomes to be sure!!!

ya man, I think this one is a pure as it gets. She's so short, fat, and smelly!

like i said i would harvest at half amber or atleast 20-25%

The trich's will let you know when it's time to harvest. Trust them. Don't harvest until you see them milky white with amber trich's here and there...

I say two more weeks and start flushing, but for $10 at Radio Shack you can check the crystals and be positive. Also you should let your club know they mixed em up and see if you can get a discount on your next purchase!!

Don't forget to flush!

Wait until all the while pistils have receded and turned red.

dont go by the pistols changing orange thats not a very accurate way to tell since different strains can vary. check your trics for sure. do u have a scope?

Hey thank you to EVERYBODY who replied. Well, i have learned from all of you that I have to check the trics. I just purchased a 30x's mag glass and a product called Final Flush. I am now researching to see what EXACTLY what i am looking for with the trics.

Oh and yes Keegosmalls thank you, a good idea. The club really F***** me up by throwing an Indica in there!
