I just germinated some seeds and put them into my hydro set-up in rockwool... Under my light, now should I just keep it on for a while or is it better germinating seeds in darkness or at least with a dark period???

Just done my first grow and I went bubbleponic, I definitely like it. But yeah, it's not fool proof. If you get a good system then it can be very, very low maintenance. My setup had a few flaws, which I'm planning to correct. But still I just basically checked it once a day for like 5 mins...

Forget the plants, I absolutely LOVE your deck! It must be great to sit out there and have a smoke, even just going out in the morning with your coffee.

I like the FIM technique very much. I'm finishing up grow no. 1 and FIM'ed my baby twice. I plan on doing a SCROG from now on, because of height restrictions mainly, and will definitely FIM again... It's just awesome.

Hairs are kind of a browny red mostly, but there are still some white ones there. Trichs are mostly white from what I can see through my magnifying glass.

I read in some journal about poking a little whole in the stem to stimulate the buds in the final stages of flowering. Is this worthwhile? I know the period of darkness is contentious I know, I still plan on trying it though because it shan't really harm my baby just with a days darkness...
