I just got a stealth bubbleponics with two 85w bulbs, one 6500 and one 2700. They say to use them both the whole grow. I don't understand why you wouldn't use two 6500 for veg and then go to two 2700 for flower? Basically I'm asking - does 2700k light do any good during veg and does 6500k...

Is it hydro or soil? Most seem to like Advanced Nutrients for hydro and Fox Farm for soil. Maybe someone can suggest something you can get at a local garden store, but it would not be as good as those.

The rule of thumb is 100w per plant but many say 100w for the first plant and 50 each for the additionals.

I'll tell you something good - don't worry about it. That plant looks fine, and if there's a little bit of burn on a few leaf tips no bid deal. That's not to say there won't be a problem later but there isn't one now.

Every forum I know of has the same problem. You can't give a test, it's too easy to cheat. The best solution is a guide for new users that warns them that anybody can be an expert on the internet and to weigh the information you get carefully. Just like in life, don't believe everything you hear.

The obvious question is whether the temp and humidity are accurate. If they are, sure use it. You should be able to test the temp pretty easy and if humidity is registering changes it's probably ok too.

Go with cfl because they produce little heat (something you will have to be concerned about). You will need 200 - 400 watts total in cfls, 6500k for veg, 2700k for flower. You can get 65 watt cfls now for under $20 each.

If you don't have permission you shouldn't grow in the house. I don't know what kind of security you have outside, but for the grow info spend some time reading the stickys.
