A/C remote control...need advise

have this a/c remote control with built in temperature and humidity meter (2 AA batt). it was used for a split unit a/c which has since been replaced. can this be used to measure temp & humidity in my grow cab? has anyone ever used this.

The obvious question is whether the temp and humidity are accurate. If they are, sure use it. You should be able to test the temp pretty easy and if humidity is registering changes it's probably ok too.
