So. On my stems I have found these white (I'm assuming) eggs. They are much larger than I would assume spider mite eggs would be but everywhere I see says they are spider mite eggs. If they are not spider mites what are they? They aren't under the leaves and I don't have ANY dots in the leaves so it seems if it is spider mites they are massing an attack and haven't done ANY damage yet. Lights are off right now so I'm going to go through and find as many as I can when lights are on and then tomorrow I'm going to drench them in neem. Does anyone else have any advice or idea what these might be. They are roughly the size of I would say half the size of the head of a pin. You know the round colored things on pins for cloth Also they are on the stems not the leaves.

So I'm pretty certain that I have 3/5 hermies in my box. How much damage can they do? Is there any point of keeping them. I feel really bad wasting my SS and buying water n shit for those things. Is there any way that I can keep the nuts at bay or is it not worth it?

They will all seed each other, so you'll have seeds in everything. id cut them and i would figure out why they herm'd. imho, they went through some sort of hardy stress for 3/5 to herm.

hermi sucks the most if you are going to sell your pot. if you are going to smoke it who cares? take the seeds out, some people prefer the taste of seeded weed. I hate when a seed get into my joint it tastes like shit, but if I take em out the pot is great, fucking great. Also sometimes I hear that hermi are sterile (not sure its the right word but I mean not fertile ...) therefore they will not fuck your other plants. I will use your thread for my many questions from now on get ready for them. cool.

It's bad genetics. I'm pretty sure it's stress free as I can get. Unless that 20+ hours of dark did it. The 3 that hermied are from a bag of seeds off of a hermie.

Totally cool. Don't know if you're a noob or not but this is a sanctuary for nubness. Here on the Subcool forum.

Yeah man, i thought you were saying that 3 tga seeds hermied... Thats why i said it was most likely environment... But if you took seeds from a hermied plant, then that could be the cause.

Yea that's what happened. I moved to a totally new part of the country from my last grow and I wanted to test the waters before I threw in my big girls. I also wanted to see what style I'm gonna use and I think I'm going to create a Xbreed of Mainlining and Scrog. I also want to perpetuate some too!

I'm getting buds in my box! I'm excited. They aren't smelling and super weedy right now. They have some odd smell i can't place at the moment. On monday I'm stripping them of their extra leaves and budsites n shit. Time to make a strait away to the buds. I'm excited!

I was thinking of getting ladybugs as a preventative measure. Is this a good idea. I might have a couple bugs in my grow now but they don't seem to be a huge deal I just don't want a mite or w/e explosion after buds set in that would be a nightmare...

If they're only a couple weeks into flower, i would use neem oil. Lady bugs are good for when your buds are too big and far along to spray.

If I get anywhere near the zip/gal ratio I'm going to have what some might refer to as a metric fuck ton of weed!! Monday i'm going to trimp up my girls (14 days of 12/12) and count it as day one of flower. That's cool right?

lady bugs are always benefitial and are fine to use at any growth stage, with or without existing mite infestation. i put 600 lady bugs in my grow every few cycles and see no real disadvantage. as is true with the majority of cannabis cultivation problems, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
