in my experience with pc's one cannot build a cheaper pc than Dell..HP..Acer..etc..etc for web surfing word processing and some very light,and i mean very light gaming.

for an all out gaming beast (like mine) we sure as hell can build a badass system compared to any vendor.

hell a single decent GTX 580 runs near $500,and SLI your looking at a grand..thats just in video cards,but when you build your own..you know exactly what goes into it,and there is no skimpin on things like power supplies like the OEM vendors like to do.

Vumar for anything under 1k..your better off buying an OEM pc like HP..unless your big into gaming then i would suggest building your own.

for me to build an exact pc like the $600 HP would cost alot more to build than the OEM vendors..they get motherboards and power supplies and pretty much everything else in bulk and at a much reduced price.

If he gets an OEM case with board/processor he'd have to put all the rest together and format himself..

Also the HPs better for ya if you wanted it immediately, but building a PC is almost always cheaper than buying one.

Shittt i can get the hp elite and then just upgrade the vid card, check out the requirements for dark age of camelot... Its pretty basic. that game came out ten yeas ago. Ps; i ran a gaming computer made out of server parts haha - it lasted seven years.

Ordered an 8 outlet commercial air pump 70litre/min with 6 5" bubble discs. Ohh and ten litres of hydroton and 4 more buckets ;) not to mention the sockets n cfl bulbs i bought to screw around with :) still need air hose and net pot bucket lids. Then im good to start veggingg! I wanna try Scrog or vertical, most likely scrog.. Inspiration of Flo-Grow! Ohhh and despite VO's luck... Im researching hydro organics..... One of us has to get it right VO o:) haha

Im interested in the general area of EC's during your Veg and Flower weeks. Im usually at .5 EC for seedlings (basically cal-mag and root conditioner) till the 2nd set of leaves and I upp to 1.0 EC. Every ten days or so from there I raise it .5 till I get to 2.2-2.5-ish depending how the plant looks.I continue the 2.2-2.5 through flower (different nutes though! I havnt used a P/K booster yettt) until the last week/two of flush. Does that sound solid-ish? Keeping in mind Im using Sensi Grow/Bloom A/B with Cal-mag and some Dutchmaster Root Zone.

In a general since, sounds about right.
I pretty much do the same thing.

I start my seedlings at about 200ppm
Keep them there for about 3 weeks then bump to 300 - 350 ppm's
By full veg I'm around 500 - 600 ppm
Bloom is 800 - 1200 on most strains.
This SR71PK / Appalachia x GG was showing burned tips by 1400 ppm
In hydro they get it quicker and constantly.
Much different than soil/soilless, which is one main reason why they explode so fast and give bigger yields.

This grape soda is off the wall. I decreased the lights on... So its 14 or 16 hours of darkness. Noticed an increase in bud density and trich develpement. Was an issue with my massive order; gotta call the bank tomorrowww
