I harvested her at around ~54 days. It was the biggest bounty I've ever come across in my growing journeys.

I'm taking a break from growing the double green if you know what I mean ;).

So F.R, yes! But how much and when, for me. (3.5X3.5X4.5 feet flowering box with 4X cxb 3590 cb 3500k @1400mA hlg-185-1400b)

Hi!
If i go for the F.R after lights off is it ok if it is for 15mn instead of ten? (For timer convenience) and how many watt and is the luxeon deep rebel fr are ok for this, how much led?
What is your advice to upgrade 4 cxb 3590@1400 from day 1 12/12 to harvest?! $

Nope, deep red Rebels (660nm) are not good for such application. You need 730nm LEDs such as XP-E far red (there are many others, too).

Just to update, my far-red timer circuit has been working perfect since day 1 of testing. Every time I go in and check after lights out, the fr has come on. I have been using the 5V fan power supply as an input to the circuit and it's been working great. I'm even powering the relay with a 9V battery and it's still going strong after 1 flowering run. (the relay only seems to draw 0.1mA)

Maybe the one on my lights is not a real one cause I do not observ this, or maybe the others wavelengths stop the stretching.
And yes I know this kind of light are not very good, but I bought it cause I saw a culture log where the guy make 2, 5gr/w so 298gr with 130w of led,but me I only harvest 120g with the same light(but he was in hydro+stg and me in soil+coco).

Like did you you use them accordingly with your 5 on after lights out up until <6 weeks of flower and let them come on with the other lights for 12 hours (+5min at lights out) after that point to see what happened? I know sds had previously stated 730 in late flower COULD BE beneficial but I'm curious if anyone has tried it first hand yet.

I must have missed that one,first I've heard that theory. My usual is first and last two week 12/12 with 730 at lights out and 13.5/10.5 in between with 730 at lights out. 12/12 with 730 the last two weeks pushes the plant to finish faster is the idea,like 10/14 without 730. I guess since the plant is over the stretch phase it's possible it may help,so nobody has tried it.

I'm curious what sds based this theory on.

Far red "can" help with density and ripening. But I'm pretty sure there's a threshold of either duration or saturation that can start to have adverse effects.

Additionally, the effects of red and far red are being explored on fully harvested plants. Supposed to increase/improve flavor on fruits and vegetables while they sit in the produce aisle.
