Get the beam out of your own eye before you remove the splinter from anothers.
Gays do not need your pity.

Have you looked at a women with lust in your heart.

Oh nevermind
I forgot you have turned away from sin and accepted God's grace.

Yet you do not appear to extend it.

Yeah even us heathens can read.
25 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.

21 That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

SOUNDS LIKE THE BEST DEAL EVER TO ME WHY REJECT GOD!!!!!!!

Well I said "LOL" to the fact that these homosexual men think they have a romantic love life but in reality it's sad I said LOL because it's so gross and rarely I just laugh it off because it disturbs me so much. The fact the pulp fiction rape scene went from the worst thing that could happen to a man to being taught at Schools at the kindergarten level and up..

It's literally the end for America look around do research....and everyone continues to try to mock GOD and deny what's happening. That's why I said LOL not to the F.E.M.A Camps and the Shootings. So sorry I laughed to all you homosexuals I can't tell you how much I pity you and how much more you have to lose then people in a relationship with GOD, when your lights go out there is nothing but Judgment no further action can be taken to help save your immortal soul.
You must repent and walk a new path the one few choose

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. -John

complete horse shit. so, you're saying, that a christian can act like just as much of an asshole as an atheist, but some how if he magically asks god for forgiveness, some how he / she is now better then an atheist simply because they don't believe in god, there fore don't have to ask for atonement? that makes absolutely nada sense..
Dude, it's not just that.

An atheist has his family and close friends to hold them accountable. Since we choose friends, we can just get new ones who share our beliefs. Our family's opinion is only as binding as the extent of their support (financial or any other kind) for our lives.

Some people just wouldn't do something so their family wouldn't discover it. Others have to refrain from some things to keep mommy and daddy paying the car bill and cell phone.

Folks in a traditional organized religion have a whole host of people to whom they are accountable, not just friends and family.

The church is hundreds of dozens of people, sometimes thousands, who have eyes and ears in the community. Why does the dildo store have a parking lot in the back?

For those of faith, a church provides social and moral structure. Sometimes this is good, sometimes humans egos take over and that is when hypocrisy sets in. It's usually the rich white church in town.

It is possible to deceive all these people. Many do. But the thought of the adults bible study teacher seeing their car at the dildo store is enough to force the dildo store to build that hidden lot.

But people of faith believe that God is all knowing. You can't pull one over on God.

I'm not saying that faith or religion makes one a better person. I am saying that it adds extra aspects to our lives to keep us accountable to something outside ourselves, which atheism doesn't offer.

I'm also taking issue wjth your argument that religion and faith allows one to take a less responsible attitude.

I think it's the opposite.

To the atheist, no one will know if he pisses in the pool, outside of himself.

To the religious person, if they piss in the pool, God also knows.

Obviously this isn't just about pissing in pools. Does it make religious persons more likely to do the right thing? Possibly.

At least it might. What is your argument as to how religion allows one to rid himself of responsibility?

At least I've given an argument to my claim, how about we hear yours.

This does nothing to answer the question.

I've not a very good idea who this fellow is you are calling me. But I can assure you, madam, that you are just a typical knee jerk negative reactionary to anything Christian.

Did you have a crush on the bushy character?

Doing something you think is good because you fear the consequences of not doing it is not doing good, and your God would know that.

Doing something you think is good because you know it's the right thing to do and are not pressured by fear of punishment if you don't is doing good for the right reason, again, your God would know that.

I can fake believing in God, your God would know that. Somehow you think doing good just to please your God is going to skate by unknowingly by an all-knowing being?

Not likely, and you know that...

Actually in advanced modern religion folks are more accountable for their actions than atheists are. They have to atone to God for their sins to be forgiven.

An atheist need not worry about obtaining grace.

Atheism, more so than faith, promotes irresponsibility.

However, you'll find responsible and irresponsible folks in both sets.
lol.....just lol.

Theology teaches that all sin is equal, from murder to telling a lie. We are also that the thought of doing the sin is as bad as doing it.

What religion does is it forces us to periodically review our lives, thoughts and actions. We ask to be forgiven of our sin, we specifically try to discover what sins we have committed.

Nothing external to the atheist forces him to do this. He may, but it isn't something that he feels compelled to do.

Also, I agree that an atheist doing good deeds because it makes them feel special is superior to a Christian doing a good deed because they fucked a hooker one night while the wife was out of town.

The problem is that isn't the case the vast majority of the time. Yes, Christians give a tithe to do good works with, but many who are able go well above that.

Christians, by far, help the most.

So does my neighborhood pub. And it's a lot more fun.
You're right it does.

The morals are strikingly different. One is beneficial spiritually. The other is physically gratifying.

You have been brainwashed by a BOOK! You do realize that right? Not a human being conversing with you, a inert object has brainwashed you. Do you really think I am going to waste a whole lot of my time trying to converse with someone who bases their values, arguments, and view's of the world from a BOOK of short stories by numerous authors? Have you ever come up with a original thought of your own without reading it first or someone telling you first, highly doubtful. The books of religion have created more hate and intolerance in this world than the republicans ever could dream of doing.
Actually all thoughts you could ever have are molded by things you have read and heard.

So your point is moot.

That's where we differ. When I was in middle school and high school, sure, I was ignorant, used words that I don't use today because others around me used them, but then I grew up, and made my own views and choices based on my own life experiences and what I have learned and seen on my own. Not what the radio, T.V., a book or any one else that tells me what, how, or why I should believe things. Those are the most suspect. Do you not have any thoughts of your own, or just what others have told you to be?

fail.

what about the physical gratification you receive from sexually molesting a child and spiritually benefiting by being told how many "hail mary's" will save your soul for the molestations?
