Who says LED doesnt grow big flowers?

Sweet flowers man! Were they clones or seed? What was your veg time?
These were from clippings, first round from the seed mom.

I vegged ~6 weeks, and did the mainline technique on the PB, hence all the flowers. I think I'll do mainlining again, great result!

If you dont mind me asking, which seller is your LED from? We have one that i believe is the same draw as yours.

Whoever says cheap panels can't grow big buds has never tried to use them or are defending their much more expensive purchase. I have been running cheap panels for 3 years now and have it down to a science, 1 gpw is now my baseline for me DWC is a match made in heaven with LED!

No one say that BM, only you do to justify the fact you don't understand how LEDs work and are too dirt poor to afford efficient ones that would increase your yield and definitly lower your ebill. (Just using your own logic there. Like it?)

After reading what you say I'm gonna send back my two 80 watt Hans panels and put back the 300 watt monster they replaced. Fuck, I like giving money to Consolidated Edison. And to dickhead Asians that hate me and my way of life. NOT.

BM do you really think you're the only one who knows how to grow with LEDs? And for the record I've owned Blackstars, VIPARs, and LED Star brand panels and they don't compare to my Hans, Illumitex or even my CREE lightbulbs. So BM do us all a favor and post your grows to teach us how it's all done. Or shut the eff up with ya bs.

Most of us that hate on cheap chinese leds' actually used them . I started out with apollos myself. I got good results. But they fail. They drive the leds to max capacity and it causes the leds to fry sooner than later. Also cheap leds take 2-3 times tthe wattage to cover the same area as high end leds. Cheap leds will produce great results. But top bin leds will produce better results.

Those are tiny for 6 weeks of veg...I do three an my plants are 5 weeks into flower and 10x that size.

The picture is 3 weeks into flower. And that plant was already 5 feet at the time. 6.5 week total age from seed.

Don't get me wrong the nugs look nice and dank, but for the age of those plants my led and HPS are monsters in comparison and younger.

Unless you are growing the same strain /genetics / phenotype with same training methods, you can't compare size with veg time. Plus with hps there is a lot more stretching, Even if plants are taller, there can still be the same number of nodes

I'm running blue dream and og all are between 4 and 5 feet. I've never experienced that big of a difference in growth between strains mine look at least three feet bigger at 6 weeks than this do after 14+ is all I'm saying. Also I vegged with 400 mh so I don't have all that much stretching. And my plants are waaaay too much bigger to have fewer nodes than those little plants in the pics.

As I said, they look dank, but as for led comparing to mh/hps combo...I think not super valid in this case.

Silly person, how can you compare your stretch-assed grow with my compact nug factories? Those colas are as big as soda cans, and hard, and frosty as shit. The PB has 8 main colas, as per mainlining technique. Sure, they dont stretch to 5ft, but I don't want them stretching...and under LED, they don't stretch much at all.

They were vegged for ~6 weeks under T5's before going into the LED tent. And remember, its only 280W of cheap chinese shit LED...and I'm at least 1GpW with this grow. Imagine how much better I'd be pulling with a better, more efficient LED panel?

With my techniques, (mainlining), I'm easily doing better than I used to under 400W HPS, and the plants are so much more frosty and stinky! :)

that's a solid grow my man. Some people are just fucking haters....as if putting someone down builds them up.
If you're getting a gram per watt that means you're pulling 10 ounces with less electricity, less heat, less noise...fuck yeah, i'll take that all day long.
however, from those pics it didn't look like 10 ounces to me. But that's besides the point. The point issome people grow because they love it and they might have limited space, or limited time, or limited funds and they still pull off great results even if its just great results to them.
Everybody here knows the time and effort and attention and risks it takes to do what we do. So instead of shitting on this guy and saying your panel is garbage..your grow sucks ...look how big my plants are etc..
You should be saying good job, keep on growing!

There are 2 plants of each strain (4 total plants under the light)...just took a couple of quick snaps of one from each strain to show the cola size, while I was trimming the fan leaves off before hanging to dry.

i have seen some nice results with led lighting plants can produce some fairly big colas
how much did those plants yield .. not being funny, but are those considered big in the led world ?

I'd say those are considered big in the 280W world, LED or otherwise. Remember, this isn't 600W or 1000W or what not...please don't compare apples to oranges.

In total, should be around the 280Gm range, from 4 plants.
