ZenithXalaga's stealth AK-48 PC grow (w/ free sarcasm)

Welcome Ladies and Gents,

Today is the day two of my babies are being born, 2 feminized ak-48s from Nirvana.

Here's the 411

Soil: fox farms ocean forest
Water: distilled water (walmart)
Lighting: 4 x 26W 6500k with the capability to add 2-4 more eventually
Light schedule: 20/4
Nutes: floranova bloom, superthrive, molasses
Fans: 1x80mm intake 1x120mm exhaust
PC case: 18" tall 7.5" wide 20" long

I have a ph control kit and soil ph meter and will post ph readings along with the first baby
pictures in the update which may be tonight or tomorrow. Happy growing!

Get ready for a carbon filter or something to kill the smell.. 48's are awfull lol but in a good way. If you're not adding nutes for veg i'd atleast do a tea with sunleaves seabird.. really good " shit " there bro... plus of course its all organic too! Lookin forward to some pic's

I knew I forgot to add something..

Odor control: FilterFresh pads to cover exhaust fan, Odor absorbing gel to go inside the case, and a room with incense burning daily to further mask smells.

Well, I didn't get any veg nutes just because I'm worried about the height since it's in a case. I do plan on LSTing the plants. I will definitely look into that. Do you have a link I could go to to check it out?

Hey crazytrain,

I've already checked out your grows before man! Nice! Well, I was planning on no less than 2 weeks and probably no more than 4 so depending on how the LST is going it will be somewhere in between that time frame. I'm sure I'll be needing some advice at some point along the way but I'm just going to have modest expectations for this grow and try not to kill my plants lol

i had 40 days of veg with my last auto that didnt auto. it got tall so 2 week would be good. any pics of your case?

Yeah im going to post all my pictures tomorrow morning. One of my seedlings cotyledons is still on its way to the light otherwise id post pics now. Thanks for the rep. 40 days in a case? Damn! Yeah I think 2 to 3 weeks is plenty. My pots are a lil small. Probably 3/4 of a gallon or less.

sounds good. if you are using ffof soil there is already enough in there to where you probably won't need grow nutes to much. i use it to in like 1.3 liter pics in my case

DAY 1

hola mi amigos,

I have my first update for you brothers-of-the-leaf.

Soil pH: 7.0 (Is this why everyone swears by Fox Farms?)
Water pH: 7ish +/- .2
Temps: 70 F during night.

Okay so here it is, I unofficially named them Stubby and Lanky (self-evident) but I may change their names.. The 2nd pic is the current position of the pots under the lights. I added some dvds under them so they are probably 3-4 inches under the light. I didn't want to burn them so I will probably raise them again tomorrow unless any of you think it's okay to have a 1 day seedling within 2 inches of 4 26W cfls. Enjoy!

Looking good I like the pc growbox! I think that light distance is fine, mine was probably that close too
