What kind of yield can I expect from 2 BigBud plants in a growtent under a 600W HPS lamp, just wondering cos that is all I have left from 9 BigBud plants the other 7 were males.

Thanks in advance for any replies. :hump:

Any pictures? People here don't even have enough info to comment, how tall are they? That is some good info, if they are a foot tall you aren't going to get much, if they are 4 feet you will get more!

I would aim for 2 oz a plant and be happy with anthing over that! Don't set your sights too high bro cus then you will be dissapointed. I have 6 female plants NL growing right now and to tell you the truth I would be happy with 1.5 per plant. I am also growing under a 600w. I am just trying to get my money out of what I spent on the grow room! LOL

Nice avatar!

lol people ask all day about what they are going to yield and almost every one of them gives little to no information.

You give us too much credit, we are not wizards or fortune tellers hahaha

Bigbud strain, done right, can produce very high yields, according to my research.

But I'm still looking for a complete grow journal with smoke reports and yield amounts.

I'll try to rectify that with my grow journal. (see signature)

Depends on how long you leave them in veg mode before going to 12/12. If you give them a good 5-6 weeks
to veg after they get into their big pot you will help your yield. Biggest mistake most make is to kick their
plants into bloom mode before the plants show sex. That really cuts down on size (yield) and quality.

Good luck, BigSteve.

I may be wrong, but usually plants don't show sex until after being put into bloom/flower mode. I've never seen a plant show sex before flower.

You are. Read my link below.
Good link, thanks.

Good information BigSteve.

I've always forced flower to sex after about 4 weeks veg, up to 6 weeks, never knew that they would show sex in veg at around 6 to 8 weeks. I guess I'll veg this set for 8 weeks and flower 8 to 10, good thing I got auto-flowers in the bunch too.

Sorry for hijacking the thread.

It will show preflowers(white hairs) when it's mature, letting you know shes ready to flower ;)
I thought a good judge for sexual maturity was asymetrical node growth (nodes that grow own there own instead of in sets of two) i have never witnessed the mysterious preflower but have witnessed asymetrical growth countless times!

yeah alternating nodes is also good sign your plant is mature
