Yellowing to brown and dying to falling off leaves.... WHATS WRONG?! please help

I have two females in flower right now, one is sativa like and one is a mix. They have been flowering for a couple of weeks. I am watering every other day. My tap water is pH 8 so I have been using pH down to drop it to 6. I recently did an Epsom salt treatment due to a magnesium deficiency in another plant. The mix has been having yellowing of the older leaves. and recently all of these leaves fell off. I am attaching a pic of one that freshly fell off. Please help, it is doing really well up top and would like for it to last the remainder of the grow.

Thanks peace and love.

Well it could be a number of things. Definately need the PH to go to a level thats good for your growing medium. 6.5 for soil. Are you giving it any nutes?

I've been using miracle grow randomly in tiny amounts, not enough to nute burn. I will keep it at 6.5 from now on. New growth is great, the cola at the top is getting crystally and everything is green aside from the bottom leaves.

dont water your plant so much every other day is too much water unless the soil is dry by then but i dont like every other day your soil is dry

bloodturtle,

i think i remember this grow, had some ph issues maybe 3 weeks ago or so
my guess is you've been controlling the ph fairly well, haven't hit it too hard with nutes
how much water have you been giving, do you let a good amount flow out through the bottom, say 20% of total?
it is easy for salts to build up over time, which will lock up nutes pretty good, and other bad things

I got 5 that is acting the same way but I have recently changed too many variables to know what is the trouble. For starters my grow and veg spaces are way too hot..and I am too cheap to run an AC on em. So I got things blowing and venting fair to middling. Recently changed over from Pure Blend Pro Organgic to NP-17 full of unnatural chemicals both from botanicare. I left the UVB CFL on for 12 hours one day and it burnt the snot out of them..them some dummy on here say to lower the light which I did..kick kick...400 Watt HPS. I also gave them yeast and water type Co2 24/7 for a week or so. I think I have about fried em. To top it all off they are in Hempy Buckets with MG Pearlite with built in nutes. It nearly killed them in early to mid veg but they eventually greened up and looked ok when they went into the flowering room. Can't help but wonder if that nasty stuff aint rearing its ugly head at me again. The ones in the veg room are looking very good but they under CFL's with good Schultze lightly used Pearlite mixed with Turface and they are still getting the Pure Blend Organic stuff. Whut is a mother to do?

it looks like a small ph swing to me, no nute burn there, i wouldnt worry to much as long as its not working its way up the cola at a rapid pace add some h202 to ur water, SMALL AMOUNT

been using h2o2 relatively regularly in small amounts. This one plant is in a relatively small amount of soil, should I add some on top? And I will flush the plant with good pH water. Thanks for all of the help!

BAD. Get yourself some better nutes, lets see a photo of the actual plant.

Nice plants man your keeping them well. Are you using co2?
I did a yeast and sugar co2 for a few weeks in veg... I started with 4 plants the two largest (both with multiple tops going into flower) turned out male they are much larger and healthier. This one is the larger of the two females, it is doing okay aside from the issue discussed in this thread. The other is great I went into flower early because the seed was started later. But it is more or less in perfect condition looks like it'll turn out as a solid foot long nugget haha

I am attaching a pic of my other female. 2-3 weeks flower

i had the same problem but i am growing in coco and was using pure blend pro, it was salt build up that did that to mine just like in your pics. Do you have a TDS pen? if you do take a sample of your soil and squeeze the water out of it and let if settel for about 30 mins and test it. and test the ph also if you have a ph pen.

i am throwing out my coco and getting some of the sure to grow loose fill. they say its none wicking and wont get salt build up like coco and soil mix.
