X-MAS day:::cfl-hempy buckets 12/12 pics. feel free to comment!!!

Well this is the 2nd official day of 12/12 under 12 cfl's. They are various 5500k and 2700k 26 true watt so 100 watt's a piece. I'm actually going to be picking up a 150 watt hps tomorrow (I will only be doing 2-3 plants at a time max since it's stealth) so I figured this would be a perfect light. They were vegged for about a month and a half (the first couple weeks of vegg were kind of rough since this is my first official grow). They are lookin mighty fine and both comfirmed female!!! Woo!!!

100% perlite hempy buckets. Started seeds in ready-gro plugs 100% organic. Transplanted in 32oz styrofoam cups then into 2.5 gallon buckets from the 99cents store. Using the Lucas formula with GH Flora nutes. I am using store bought spring r/o treated water for $.67 a gallon =). I was using my tap water at first and they didn't like it much so I switched.

I originally started with like 7 plants all bagseed and ended up with these 2 and got females. I'm rather excited!

Interesting...you're the first person I've ever heard of using Perlite only.

There are others doing this as well. They drink a little quicker with all perlite but I have the time to attend to them when they need to be fed and what not. Lately the growth has been insane!

Looking good man those plants seem to have plenty of light! I was wondering if you have had any trouble with watering, does 100% perlite hold moisture well?

I just posted above. They Drink a little faster with 100% perlite but I have the time to spend make sure they are fed and what not. Yes, I made sure they had plenty of light haha! But the 150 watt HPS is coming tomorrow =)!!

GNOME GROWN...I had the XSI but it was stolen a few month back and I was devastated!! But this one makes up for it. I want a fisheye lense bad! I'll be sure to check out your thread fo sho!

ur setup looks almost like mine, cfls in the bottom cab for veg and 150w hps for flowering, Whats the size of ur grow cab?, And what strains are u using, Ive got about 2x2 and its split at 2.5' high for the veg part and area above that which extends another 5 feet high for flowering, and im growing XXX 420 and white widow at the moment in soil/perlite. How often do u have to water with perlite, ive been considering trying a clone out in it to see the difference

Oh this is actually a big ass walk-in closet and the plants are currently just sitting on a dresser that is in there. When I said stealth I meant for just personal use haha. I cleaned the closet out real well before I started this set up. It has like 8 foot tall ceilings. I thinks it is like a 4'x4'x8' but it could be bigger.

It is mentioned in my beginning post but I am growing sensi star and some reggie both bagseed.

Yeah HD Video's. It's 15.1 mp and the quality is unreal. It has an hdmi output as well and I have a nice belkin hdmi cord for it. I have a macbook pro so everything looks so real haha.

Good stuff, I believe Im gonna give a hempy bucket grow a shot next time around.

It's super easy to do...I just made the mistake of leaving them in the 32oz cups for too long and they went rootbound so they were looking sick for a while. After I put them in the buckets they started growing like crazy and looking healthy as can be. Cheap method of growing as well.

Looking good and nice work of zip tie and plug in sockets that was smooth. Enjoy your new equipment.

Im only using peat moss...everythings going good...2nd week of flowering with no problems...

I have always been into making everything clean. I build cars and I'm the same way with my wires. Everything has to be clean and hidden. Updates soon!!
