Might be my only option unfortunately... get a plastic tap and die set and do it myself (if those even exist).
Gonna try and go back to the store tomorrow and see if they'll just give me a new stand.... not a whole new TV... just open a box and give me a stand out of one... Who knows... maybe..

Pretty shitty day if you ask me though, was super stoked to get my PC hooked up to that bad boy

Is the only option a stand? mine came with a stand and a little plate thing to stick it in for table tops.

This guy is right^^^^
There is a couple models of samsungs with defective stands.You should of checked it out online first.
I did it when I bought mine and noticed a couple models had that problem.

Well thats not fair really to say, he went to a store, seen a display of the tv prolly and said "I want that one" 1000 bucks says that the display wasnt crooked at all

But since I found the internet I check out every thing im about to buy first on here,like review and shit.

still theres no excuse for them selling you a fucked up TV for 2k.
Id contact them and ask them to hook you up with some free shit.My friends tv stand for his samsung is fucked up to.It still fits to the tv but the screw are to big so they had to be forced in and the tv is loose and could easily tip if he didn't have a book under it.

My samsung is perfect though lol,and I grabbed it refurbished.

Slojo's right... I did see a display of the TV.. and it wasn't crooked.
We'll see what happens tomorrow, and if I gotta cap mofos or not

Never owned an HDTV before... sold quite a few... and all my bros have one.

My girlfriend and I mostly just watch T.V anyway after we both get home from work... hit the bong and relax and watch some shows... We usually watch TV on the computer though.... and we were excited to have a HUGE computer/tv screen

I tried out the 3d in best buy with the PS3 and that shit was insane,the glasses are just annoying to wear.

Tell them to give you one of those wall mounts for free. When I bought my plasma TV we almost got one that was like $100 just for the mount. It had a swivel so you could move the TV basically anywhere you wanted. Was pretty cool actually.

You should write a review though well maybe not now since we all know the story..

I had one of those.I didn't really like it.If you get one make sure you can drill a hole through the wall to hide the wires and shit or find some way to hide them or it will look like shit.
I wanna grab one of those stands that put the TV up in the air so it looks like its wall mounted but its connected to the stand through the tv's wall mount holes.

Meh, tv reviews require research and i totally understand just going to get one cuz you finally have the money. Last thing i wanna do is spend time researching when i know what i want. I know enough to know whats a good deal and what i want in a tv so if it has it im good, aka ... is it big? check! Does it have 50 HDMI in/outs? check! alright ... im sold, load it up!

Mate, just take the stand back - it wont be the TV thats wrong - more likely the wrong stand has been packed with it. In my exp yelling and kicking off makes them less likely to go out of thier way to help. If the TV was faulty then that model would be getting returned by everybody as they are made on a production line with hundreds all being made exactly the same.
Ask the shop to check the stand against a display model. Be nice, it usually gets you further. I just had a problem with a TV, after the 4 week repair deadline had passed i went in, complained nicely and they gave me a loan set until mine was returned. Good luck mate.

If you go back to the store without the tv to try and get a new stand only, be sure to take the box or at least the UPC panel. I recenly had a similar situation, it wasn't a tv but one of several identical parts was bent. I had the thing almost all assembled by then. I got the part, but would have been less hassle if I had it with me so they could scan it in.

Good point , i hadnt thought of that, also taking the sales receipt as proof of recent purchase.
