I just spent $2000 on a fucking TV and I go to put it together and the fucking stand is manufactured crooked... WOW IM FUCKING PISSED i punched a hole through my wall and im tempted to just smash the TV

Why not take it back to where you bought it from and have it replaced, I am sure that sort of shit is coverd. Or just get a different stand/wall mount.

Words can't even fucking convey how mad I am.... I drop $2000 and don't even get to use my fucking TV and now i have to go through all this bullshit with the store and manufacturer to try and find a fucking replacement..... I'm demanding my money back tomorrow and if they dont give it Imma drop the tv in the store into a million fucking pieces so they have to spend all day cleaning that shit up

That's not even really the point... It's the fact that I spent $2000.... then had to find a friend with a truck to transport it.... and the store is ALL the way across the other side of town... and they don't do exchanges or anything... only THROUGH THE FUCKING manufacturer which is what pisses me off.

so now I haev to find a friend with a truck, haul it all the way back if I can even get it back in the box.... and then wait how fucking long few months for them to send me back a new piece for my TV that should've been there in the first fucking place...

NEVER, buy a new 2011 Samsung TV... Unless you want a defective stand where the threadholes don't line up and the only way to make it work is to have the tv sit at a fucking 45 degree ANGLE

Go to the store, without the tv, negotiate..

They HAVE to have a store policy to take returns within a certain time frame... like granted that it's a legit channel..


Anyway, the short answer could be this dude... TVs are made with mounting holes to work with all sorts of different shit. Trust me I know. You should be able to find an inexpensive aftermarket stand/mount for your tv somewhere.. like online.

You just got a lemon dude. I have a full Samsung setup, TV, Bluray/DVD player, Home theater. They all link up with the Aynet network thing and i couldn't be more satisfied. You just got a defective piece and that totally blows understandably. But just take that extra time to make it right.

Also you can attract more flies with honey my friend. You go in that store and chew them out, they are gonna be more apt to tell you to fuck off than to give you your money back. The flip side to all that is If they are a dick about it, by all means, break that TV over their head !!! lol

you are obviously putting it together wrong.

i have 2 full samsung setups and love them. just about all my electronics are samsung. they don't manufacture crocked stuff. something is wrong. turn the manual over and look at it the other way.

little ripples man just ride it out until you can think clearly after all is said and done everything will work out and you might even get some extras you might not have got before. still sucks but don't let that shyt phase you

The tv does swivel yeah but the actual holes for the mounts are drilled wrong.
I used to sell TVS at sears, and I've unboxed and set up more tvs than most peopl have.. And believe me I ain't doing it wrong! Its 4 bloody screws... And the piece only fits one way.. And the holes don't line up.

It's legit defective, my buddy even came over to scope it and he was dumbfounded too.
I know samsung is good quality tvs and I got the short end of the stick on this one
