I knew Christina would end up being a weird person
involved in all of this....

I thought at the beginning of the season....

"why would they introduce this reporter as a character that keeps
popping up....hell she even has a name...."

I don't know what their going to do now. I could see if the baby was older he could take over Dexter's killings. Can't have a baby carrying bodies around.

in previous seasons, including this one, dexter is so calm and calculated, this next season, he is going to lose control, and lets be honest, thats when the show is awesome.

i bet you debra is going to be taking care of the kids, hell,
he may even move back into his old apartment, and be like he used to until he sorts his life back out.

but trust me, every other story in dexter, is boring as hell, except for him, the main character.

The whole story with Rita is NOT boring if you understand what is
going on.

From the jump, Dexter has always explained very clearly that he
is unable to understand or FEEL complex human emotions, "but
if I had feelings, I'd have them for Deb" (Dexter, Season 1)

The whole point of Rita being in the storyline, is that as time
goes by, Dexter starts to feel attachment to someone else....LOVE.

Thats why Rita dying was such a huge deal because for the first
time in his LIFE he had started to developing a loving, open relationship:

something he has never experienced before. I forget what episdode
its in, but in season 4 when he has someone on his table and they're talking, he bursts out and says "I'd rather risk them knowing the truth
than to lose them".

The staff and Michael C. Hall did a great job of conveying the message
here...

The whole point is, Dexter is a serial killer BECAUSE he feels no remorse,
and is unable to understand emotions so he feels no guilt for what
he does.

Dexter is finally able to feel love which is VERY significant in the plot
of this series. I remember in an earlier season he killed a man for
stalking his stepdaughter, Astor.

Its hard to believe i just heard of Dexter about 3 weeks ago and ive already finished all 4 seasons. I will say it was quite addicting, Season 1,2,and 4 were awesome and had me at the edge of my seat throughout the whole season. But I felt like season 3 was a bit slower paced but it was still likeable. The season finale caught me by surprised and i was pretty shocked yet excited it took such a leap. But now im in heavy anticipation for the next season which i hear is gonna take half a year atleast for it to begin airing.

its just me, but i find rita, batista, maria, quin realllly boring.

yea dex was evolving this season, but i never liked it one bit.

i like harry , deb, and masuka story lines but in the end i just really want to see dex kill bad people. lol
