Would It Be Okay To Transplant At 1 Week Into Flowering?

Well I Wanna Re-pot My Plant To A 5 Gal. Pot Because Some Signs Ive Been Getting From My Plant And Its Week 1 Into Flowering And Could Prob Use The Extra Room So The Question Is Can I Re-Pot At 1 Week Flowering? Would This Stunt Growth? Or Cause Any Other Problems?? And Thats If All Goes Well And No Roots Get Damaged Should I See All Gain From This Transplant ^_^ All Help Is Greatly Appricated.:joint::-o

I would make sure that your problem really is the pot size before transplanting. First week of flower is not a time to stress your plant. Maybe you could take a pic and someone here can help you. Good luck to you
 
Long root is incorrect if your going to do any transplant during flower you want to do it in the first week this is always a last option but it is always better to have the bigger pot going into flowering if showing signs of rootbound. The first week is the best during the transition when the plant is deciding it needs to flower this gives it time to recover in time for the stretch. I have read in Weed World mag that you can transplant all the way up to the 3rd week of flowering but i wouldnt do it i always transplant right before they go to flowering i have done a few a week in and to no neg results. What your using as your medium also matters i have had plants go through flowering in a 1.5 liter pot with coco and got 2 oz of each plant. But that was a smaller plant and a clone. Transplant it now if your gonna do it

Well Heres The Link To What It Looks Like So Far Its Day 3 Of Flowering I Only Got It In About A 3 Gal. Pot And I Just Bought A 5 Gal Pot Just About 10 Mins Ago So I Got That Covered I Just Think It Would Do It Some Good For The Extra Space Its Been In The 3 Gal For About Uhh I Would Say 2 Months So I Know It Could Use The Room And I Fiqrued Since It Was Only Day 3 It Would Be Good To Do It Early If At All

You may have read all about it. But I am speaking from experience. You will delay flowering time if you stress your plants early in flower.
 
Well Its Too Late ^_^ I Went With The Growers Instinct And Transplanted All Went Very Well The Roots Never Even Knew They Were Out Now We Will Wait And See Ill Give Updates In A Week Or So. Thanks For All The Replys Take Care Keep Smoking:hump:
 
I've done mine as late as 4 weeks into flowering. The biggest issue I've faced is that after a couple weeks into flowering the root system is mostly done growing as the plant is focusing on bud production. If you put it in a bigger pot, the plant may put more effort into the root system, sacrificing bud production. Another issue I've faced is because the root system is underdeveloped for the pot size, the pots take longer to dry and don't dry as evenly increasing chances of root rot or other root issues. If it has to be done, I would advise going up the next largest size, 3g - 4g etc..
 
i recently transplanted 4 plants at 5-6 week of flower...the three gallon pots just weren't cutting it. they are doing great!

It certainly does help, most of my problems arouse last time with a change in the weather, the cooler temps played havoc with my watering/feeding schedule. This time I've tried to keep the temps up in the high 70's to help dry the pots out faster.
 
Ok. I know this is an old thread but im laughing my ass off at this....

All the advice and all the talk about getting heavy yeilds and what not and NOBODY REALIZED THAT THIS PLANT IS A MALE??!! LOL you can clearly see the balls on this plant.. No wonder they quit posting updates lol id feel stupid too i mean wow
