I found these two on my 9lbs. hammer plant. Are they harmless and is it to late to treat with need oil?

The green one is bad. I think it might be a tomato horn worm....or maybe a cabbage looper.... I don't recognize the other one...but if it was me, then I'd be worried. I don't like critters on my plants even if they might be good predators....because they all poop and they all die and leave their corpses. I'd start going through and plucking off any that I could find. -2 cents

Oh...and the chemical you will need in order to kill caterpillars is called "BT" or Bacillus thuringensis.
