Need to find a magnifying glass then. They look like specs of dirt. They itch when they get on my skin. Leaves look like they lose color get dry and then they wilt like if when u underwater. Ill use my rebel tomorrow to see if I can get a better picture. How do u kill thrips or aphids? I bought a pyrethrum fogger and azamax spray. Was gonna do the rosemary oil thing but idk if they will work on aphids and thrips like they do on spider mites

And I read that they don't fuck with leaves and buds with trichomes on them. This is true in my grow. The buds that are frosty look untouched just their leaves look all whiteish like splash residue but much more dry looking.

hos to kill thrips?

Sharksbreath kiddo's are dwarfing their party cups at 15days old. I picked the two most even in growth and looks to be the final runners in 2g buckets. I FIM'ed a couple days ago and today I transplanted to 2g buckets of coco/rockwool grow-cubes. The res is 100% grow cubes and the the upper is 20% grow cubes/80% coco. You gotta love coco at transplant time.

How do I tell if they are thrips or spider mites? They look too long to be spider mites and I see no webs. Oh well if its thrips then its easiest to get rid of then spider mites
That does not look like mites. I am just finishing my battle with these little bastards, they arent that visible.

Thrip damage will cause that silvery sheen on top of the leaves due to sucking the juices through the under side of the leaves. Mite damage is usually dots or small circles and thrip damage is in lines, slightly oval like eggs but long. Both are a pain but a good neem/sunlight (dish soap) wash like already stated. Hope your battle goes smoothly. Peace!!

Also germed a c99 bean... just placed her in solo. Hope she will pop soon! I'll be running this strain after this current one.

Looks like some fat buds growing there steelie.
Thanks shiva. I popped 3 beans total, this is by far the fattest. The other two look good but nothing spectacular. Two of my 3 snow whites popped a few days ago. Ones in a coco solo cup and one is in soil. Never done a plant in soil so I thought I'd try it. Gonna give her a good veg. The one in coco I'll throw in the tent here in a week or so.

I had to pull the plug on the moms moving to a new place so I can't contaminate the new location. From now on no more window units. Lost more than 8 lbs worth of crops it hurt me like pulling a plug on my own children. So crazy how thrips can turn a room full of six foot tall overgrown mothers Into a few trees left with half their leaves missing. It's like going from lush rainforest one week and a few weeks later it looks like grass from the savannah... Sigh. Lesson learned... No more window ac units. I think I will have to raise lady bugs in the sealed grow rooms from now on. Can't lose like this again. So sad how for my first grow I did everything right but had such bad luck with thrips. Lesson learned.
