Wondering if anybody had good plant cover tips?

I've recently started my first outdoor guerrilla grow. Link to my journal for those interested: https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/641957-starting-my-fiirst-outdoor-guerrilla.html. Yes, I'm a shameless self-promoter.

Anyways, as the title says I was wondering if anybody knew any good plant covers that will grow well/are native to the PNW. I'm hoping to plant some cover mostly around the perimeter of the area to serve as a deterrent for any deep-off trail wanderers.

So far I've thought of blackberry bushes as they seem like they would grow abundantly and would keep people from going far into the area. Does anybody have any thoughts or ideas? (I'm only slightly hesitant to plant blackberries though as the berries may attract people looking to pick them? )

Blackberry bushes are also attractive protection for rabbits and other small critters which like to nibble on pot plants.

I was thinking about the same thing a few months ago, and my thought was nettle. But I'm just brainstorming with you. My gorilla experience is ZERO, but my family owns about 250 acres of lake front land outside of town.

Ali cakes, if you're still looking for a good plant barrier/people deterrent, I've found a pretty good species called Black Hawthorn. If you want to know more about it, my most recent post in my grow journal ( linked in my signature ) goes a bit more in detail about them and what I'm planning with them. Best of luck to you! Hope this may help you out.

Thank you for the info, but the hawthorn tree doesn't grow here and thorny locust trees haven't kept the p.o.s. neighbor away from my plants in the past.
