first off it's 250 volt, so youll need a high voltage circuit, like for a clothes dryer., second 240 will kill you if you fuck up. exercise caution.

looks like 8 amps if im reading it right, which would put that thing at 2000 watts. it looks like a old agricultural grove blower to keep frost off citrus. if thats what it is, the damned thing will make a hurricane in your garage.

i wouldnt fuck with it. talk to a electrician first, and if he says its good, fire it up and see what happens. im bettin it blows your wig off, and it tries to fly to cuba.

Put it in a pickup truck bed. Have fun trolling cyclists and folks in convertibles. Enjoy added thrust. cn

I don't think it's a 220volt. The start capacitor is rated at 250volts (safety factor) and 8 microfarrads of capacitance.
Using a normal 120v line: Green or the bare wire would go on the left, white would go to the N terminal and black would go to the L terminal.
Not sure what the brown wire is for unless it is a 220v fan but I seriously doubt that.

Looks like standard 120V PSC wiring.

imma have to take your word for that, but it says 250v on the only label posted, and it sure does look like a grove blower. I wouldnt risk browning out my neighborhood and havin the electric company come check out what made the circuit go down. especially with a yard full of cannabis.

them grove blowers we used to run on big 220v diesel generators, and it sure looks like one of them bastards... be careful they eat hats and knock over farm workers.

It's not a label, it's a start capacitor.
The worst that can happen is it won't run at all or trip a breaker.

If it was 240V it would have two hot terminals.

To put your minds at ease.
Here is the box from a 120V Valueline.
Notice the capacitor says 250V.
That's just the capacitors max voltage rating.

N= neutral = white wire on cord to plug
ground= yellow green or ground terminal
Last hot or black wire to cord

other blue wire is for speed look's to be two speed!! it's 110vac try to straighten the dented area so you can seal the duct to it!! Great find my friend (If it work's!)429 cfm exhaust thru lamp outside.jpg
