Some plants were two weeks in, others a month. But 7 of them were flushing in thier last week before harvest.

I'm going to run them under the shower tonight to help rinse off what I can.
So was it the pyrethriium that helped? There are some organic pesticides that have it, like bug-off, and you can use it till the day you harvest, or does it have to be a raid fogger? I have acouple lying around, they are the ones that you add water and drop the little can in the plastic cup... Do I have to get specific foggers?

It worked fine for me. I got the raid fumigator becasue the concentration of the Pyrethrium was so high (12.6%) Some of the others only had like 3%. Plus it was a three pack for only like 20 bucks. If you have more time to order one online I would go with doktor doom (thats the correct spelling) It has a better more organic, less deadly to humans form of pesticide.

I used other sprays with no luck, so I think it was the pyrethrium that did it. I may have been that the fogger just got to more of the infected areas quicker before the little bastards could get away. Who really knows. It worked fine for me though.

Doktor Doom is good shit. Definitely the only stuff I would use.

:peace:
I would have used it this time, but I had to fix the problem quick and the raid was the only way I could do it. It takes me a couple of days to get the doktor doom fogger mailed out to me.

Hm, now I dont know what to do. I think I am controlling them. I bought a perethrium (sp?) spray, but it was only about 2%, and I sprayed the shit out of my plants, and I've definitely noticed that there are still only a few, so, I think they are being controlled. Im going to check out the doktor doom stuff, but I have a can of the raid stuff with 12% perethrium in it. I guess it does work better cause it gets into the nooks and crannies, but, Ive also read that thrips lay their eggs INSIDE the plant, so while we are killng the newwly hatched to adult population, we are not getting the eggs, or the pupae in the soil. Thats where nematodes come in, for the soil, and the eggs, well, just have to keep applying the spray, I imagine. Im doing the fogger tmw when the lights go off, then itll be on to more of the spray to clean it up.. One question about the foggers, should I turn off all my circulating fans, or just the exhaust? Do I want to let the fans push it around the room, or is the spray light enough that it moves around good enough by itself?
