Open your eyes... the war in Iraq and Afghanistan continues, the Bush tax cuts were extended, Obama accepted the Expansionary austerity theory, constantly is trying to work with Republicans, his second stimulus is 60% tax cuts... If you think Obama is anything but a centrist than I believe it is your political savvy that is under question - not mine.
Obama would have raised taxes if he could. He's trying to do that now. Obama trying to work with Republicans????? LOL. He locked them out of the rooms during the health care debate. He signed the bill without ONE republican vote. Yes, I question your political savy.
Sure, he wants to raise taxes... By closing loopholes to corporate tax jets and oil companies and by changing the capital gains rate from 15%, which is much lower than what most people pay...Obama would have raised taxes if he could. Do you even remember the Healthcare debate? Republicans weren't interested in compromising either, they didn't want to improve the bill - they were fundamentely against it and fought to the bitter end to stop it... It was a yearlong partisan battle...
the PPACA was loaded with provisions from the GOP. if you don't think he's been trying to work with the GOP, that is your perception problem and yours alone.
obama has lowered my taxes, and my pa-in-law, who is in one of the top brackets, could care less if we return to clinton era tax levels. when i asked him directly about it, he replied tha you would have to be insane to turn down an extra $100k because you'd be taxed an extra $3k on it, which is true. he would take that 'any day of the week'. he voted for bush in 2004, by the way.
you know who wouldn't take that? ideologues and partisan hacks.
Can't forget that part... Really exposes the hypocrisy of the Republican party imo; I wonder if Obama is saving that one for later, seems like it will be an effective illustration of said hypocisy....in which the GOP stood against the "socialism" they initially proposed in 1989 via the heritage foundation.
LOL!

Wrong. How many Republicans voted for the bill? ZERO.
how many hundreds of republican provisions were in the bill? whose idea was the individual mandate originally?
check the heritage foundation. that socialist bastion![]()
Is that supposed to scare me? LOL. I've been banned from better outhouses than this piece of shit political forum. You laughed and laughed when you posted your insulting cartoons. You are a coward and the posters who have a brain on this forum know it. Go fuck youself, loser.
It's very common in politics to contribute an amendment or earmark to a bill and still vote against it... Ron Paul, for example, always votes against spending bills but that has never stopped him from directing money to his district via amendments to those bills. It's a neat little politicians trick so they can get something they want and still use the overall bill against their political opponents by voting no.Not one Republican vote. You're a liar.
