@outside Dixie In the neighborly spirit of this fine thread, I have to commend you on your efficient use of punctuation. You do use periods, you just use them all at once and get that part out of the way. Kudos to you!

@Zogs Would you mind elaborating on this process, or maybe post a link that explains the process in detail?
Thanks.
just google diy colloidal silver. Find a simple tutorial that doesn't over complicate it. 3, 9volt batteries 2, 99.9% silver rods and some distilled water is all you need. Under $20 in materials for years worth of CS (colloidal silver). Once you've done that the process is pretty simple. Spray a branch as soon as it shows sex (autoflower) 2-3 times daily for 3-4 weeks. I'm sure I have some more detailed posts on the forum here if you want to search it up.

STS is another viable option (maybe even better) but I've found it hard to source here in Canada. However, I was just sent a test kit from silverthiosulfate.ca that I'll be testing out on afn starting next week. Feel free to hit me up in a pm here or on afn (mesaboogie) if you run into any issues. I usually check in 1-2 times a week.

It's recreational where I live with a 24 plant count 12 per household flowering / vegging. I'd agree if you only grow indoors you're wasting you're time growing autos. You're going to put the same amount of money, effort, and use the same equipment to grow less weed. However autos can have a place, I can legally grow outside, but plants cant be visible. I can almost touch my neighbors house... we close. Photos I'd have to train too much imo to keep them under the fence and invisible. Autos I can run perpetually all year long, 8 to 12 plants at a time. I'll grow photos, cross and make seeds inside.

This is why... And I don't have to worry about light leaks, changing light cycles, or worry about opening up the tent when the lights are out to check on them... I did that with a photo 1 time and it triggered it to start flowering. PXL_20220526_020621240.MP.jpgPXL_20220520_013124095.MP.jpg

I've got numerous ppl with your lame ass attitude that bitch about autos 24/7 yet rave about my buds non-stop. I just drop the auto from the name and they think the sun shines out of its ass. Little do they know they've been smoking autos for years with no issues.

These people couldn't pick an auto vs photoperiod bud side by side if you paid them $1000. They've built up a pathetic superiority complex that falls apart the second you unknowingly sell them autoflower buds and they rave about it.

It's like clockwork.

My experience with Autos is considerable.
I grew the first version of lowryder all over my yard, behind a hedge row.
My experience with Autos is affected by a few points.
Autos are relatively new in the cannabis world and not everyone gets it right.
Lots of mutants, less potency, and ruderalis throwbacks.
Lots of time wasted.
And when I am gathered with people who grow autos, their herb stays in the box. Everyone wants my herb. They start converting to photoperiod grows.
They don't realize their autos are weaker, until they get something else to compare it against.
So that's it.
If the waste of time and throwbacks don't bother you, it's quite possible to smoke your autos and be very well satisfied.
Like anything in life, it's a personal choice.
There will always be a market for Fems and Autos, and it doesn't matter to me if someone wants to be the guinea pig to help get them tuned in. It's a service to the community. Feedback is how breeders get right.
