The water temp in my cloner is a bit warm 23c I'm going to add some chlorine, I think I've got it worked out but I'd like someone to confirm my calculations for 5ppm of chlorine?

1g of chlorine makes 2.5lt of 200 ppm so each 1/10th = 20 ppm to 2.5lt.
I need 0.1g for each 10ltr for 5ppm.

I can tell you the recipe for 73% pool shock if that helps...That's what I use in my aero cloner.

The temps are important too....That's not a bad temp though....70-75F

2 grams of 73% sodium hypochlorite into 1 gallon of water....This is your solution....Then use 15 ml of said solution in your 2 gallon aero cloner every 3 days until you have roots.

No nutes, no humidity dome, low light, and keep temps under 75f. I use a cycle timer in the summer to keep my temps in range.

Thanks but I only have chlorine or bleach to hand, chlorine is a better option, that said if 70/75 is acceptable then I'll just keep an eye on it.

I done a bit research apparently pool shock is chlorine but in a faster acting form, apparently chlorine stores in sealed containers so 1g to 1ltr would make a workable solution if required.
