I checked the water temperature today and it's 25c, it shouldn come as a surprise that's the same as the ambient temperature.

So I looked at pool shock typically in the UK its £16 for 400g, I'll get around to buying it but not atm instead I've ordered a sample pack £1.69 for 3-5g.
Going by @manfredo ratio post that's enough to get me by for the 2-3wks of cloning with 10ltr.

When it's less relevant I can try the chlorine and see how it goes, I've got ppm worked out I've just not got the balls to use it atm that's the truth :-)

for 62 to 64% pool shock, its 0.1 grams in 10 gallons water for 1ppm.

2 grams of 73% sodium hypochlorite into 1 gallon of water....This is your solution....Then use 15 ml of said solution in your 2 gallon aero cloner every 3 days until you have roots.

No nutes, no humidity dome, low light, and keep temps under 75f. I use a cycle timer in the summer to keep my temps in range.
Before I mix up a batch can I just double check your using a US gallon?
UK and US gallon is different I just want to be sure?

Thanks!

Just buy regular household bleach (sodium hypochlorite) and be done with it? PoolShock and bleach contain nearly the same amount of sodium. Here's the dilution calculator: Chlorine dilution calculator

Can you tell me the desired concentration of bleach, the calculator asks the desired concentration or mg/L

I would try Google but I'd be no further forward with different measures of gallons which idk I'm only familiar with litres and uk gallons

It's typically listed on the back of the bottle in percentage. Our local brand is 5% hypochlorite.

Here I calculated 25L 3ppm solution. Hope that helps. Cheers!
