Who would Jesus vote for in 2012?

Given Republican or Democrate who do you think Jesus Christ would vote for in 2012?

  • Mitt Romney

    Votes: 9 47.4%
  • Barack Obama

    Votes: 10 52.6%

  • Total voters
    19
  • Poll closed .

Jesus would not vote, he held that leaders of countries are dispositions of God and that you should not concern yourselves with such a thing. He entreated the rich to take care of the poor, and that worldly posessions should be of no interest. Were he to understand a democratic system he would likely run himself - and win.
so jesus felt that political leaders were chosen by god to be the powerful and everybody else was chosen by that same god (presumably) to be powerless and poor?
the council of mycene really fucked you christians in the ass and made you thank them for the honor.

protip: jeebus never said "blessed are the political leaders, for they are annointed of god" nor anything to that effect. only the catholic church and the political leaders that knelt at the feet of the pope were "annointed" every other king, prince potentate and tribal leader was a heathen a blasphemer or an apostate (lol anglicans) and if they could not match the military force of the aligned christian nations they fell to the sword and the missionary.

What is the purpose of this poll? It almost seems as though your using it to set up a personal argument you wish to make. All your doing is enticing dissent.

I am finding conflicting voices on the Web. But two who maintain that he discarded the poor once he had their votes can be found in the links. cn

I could be wrong, but I don't think they let the people who are in asylums vote. Your claim has little to no basis on reality. The tone your post proves that. I can find you links that say Hitler and Obama were boyfriend and girlfriend too.

It is for fun.

It's a pariody of "What Would Jesus Do" and some thought on the ultimite Christian's position would be based on your perspecftive,

why the fuck should i care who a fictional character might vote for IF he were real If he were an US citizen and IF he bothered to vote at all.

if we presume that jesus of nazareth is who he is purported to be in the fanfiction, then he is an israeli, and thus not eligible to vote in US elections.
Wtf are you talking about? Put down the crack pipe, dude. ACORN was helping Jesus vote for Obama in 2008.

he'd be too busy making free wine, and hanging out with hookers....................
Yeah, I thought too he would vote Obama because Romney would be deregulating the "Money-Changers" and reducing alms for the poor. Very Non-Christ like IMO.

I'm an ape man.. lol!

There is not one single thing that is fun, or funny, about religion. More people have died on this planet over these ridiculous tales, and are still dying today, in their names.

You know. You're almost as atheist as I am. Out of all the thousands of Gods there are in the world, there's only one less god on that list that you don't believe in.

Tax welfare is not alms for the poor.

There is a big difference between charity and welfare.

Well, you got me there. That is some pretty funny shit about religion. Ok. I'll play. If Jesus was alive and well today as the American citizen every human being dreams to be, he would vote Obama. Why? Because if Jesus were alive and well today, he'd be just like me.

how Jesus would vote, like most everyone else, would depend on where he lives, how much money he earns and how his father voted.

Jesus lives in Heaven - a desirable and exclusive location, highly selective when it comes to who is allowed to live there
Jesus was a carpenter - foreign multinationals like ikea effectivly ended that as a profession, unions were powerless in the face of big foreign investment.
George Bush II told us that he was on a mission from God, so clearly God is a Republican.

Worryingly, all the signs seem to point to a blue elephant...
