If I remember correctly, Jesus believed in taking care of your fellow man through your own charity, and less through the theft of others. He would shame us all into taking care of the problems we face without the government forcing us to. If he were here to vote, wouldn't that mean the zombie apocalypse was starting?

I always kind of felt like the bible(if true)was about as accurate as if I tried to explain to my 6 year old nephew how the government worked and then he went to someone else and explained it. Jesus might show up at the head of a Panzer division with Hitler as his 2nd and elect himself supreme dictator.

New stupidest question. Make up some guy from 2000 years ago. Make out like you think you know him, what he would do back then, etc...if he did exist.

Then smuch that forward and make him an informed voting citizen of the USA and co-opt him for your side. The Cloak of Rightness.

TOO FUNNY<

I'm rather tired with the Job but on the two party.

Our Media limits us mainly so limiting Jesus to two choices is a refection of our situation.

I believe Jesus would vote Democrat because he was against Money Changers and in favor of helping the Poor.

Romney is in favor of expanding opportunities for the Money Changers and reducing benefits for the Poor.. At least today he is. What will he flop to tomorrow?
then you did not read the bible, or at the very least you failed to comprehend the meaning.

jehovah in the old testament was a jews first, gentile hating machine with smotency on a hair trigger.

jehovah in the new testament was all peace love and understanding if you:

submit to jeebus and the catholic church
surrender your riches to the church (clergy exempted, and noble classes have masssive personal deductions)
dont ask any questioons
accept without question the interpretation of the clergy with regards to all matters religious (and in many lands, secular too)
answer the questions of the inquisition as soon as they begin the torture.
confess regularly
suffer for the sins of others, like jeebus would
never question the clergy's interpretation of the magic book

now that the leftists have co-opted the magic book for their own ends, looks like you have joined the faithful flock of the cult of liberalist christianity. foolish choice

why does everyone believe that republicans dont help the poor? So, just because they help businesses they are kicking the homeless? WTF.

We still have food stamps, health care for elderly/impaired/pregnant and such. We didnt need a universal health tax to accomplish that.
Because some of us remember what Reagan did to the institutionalized insane. That was the sharp edge of the wedge. Since then, each R administration has waged a war on the unrepresented poor. cn

Jesus would not vote, he held that leaders of countries are dispositions of God and that you should not concern yourselves with such a thing. He entreated the rich to take care of the poor, and that worldly posessions should be of no interest. Were he to understand a democratic system he would likely run himself - and win.

Why are so many Christians batshit insane when compared to that version of Jesus?
