I need some help please! This is my 3rd crop and my buds look like shit. After the harvest by hanging the plants upside down until dry then curing in glass jars, my buds are not dense or solid. They always come out light, airy, and fluffy. It looks like homegrown. How do you get the buds to get nice and dense and rock solid hard??

1. Start with good genetics. Sensi Star has been the densest strain I've grown.
2. Keep your temperatures low. This reduces the stretch of the stem keeping flower sites compact.
3. Use quality HID lighting. The densest nugs come from the highest wattage HPS you can get.
4. Ensure a perfectly healthy grow. Maybe try using Gravity, it denses up my nugs.
5. A longer dry is better. Try to keep your environment such that it takes at least 6 full days, and as much as 10 days, for the moisture to leave the buds.

If you get the right genetics, the right environment, the right lighting, the right supplements w/o burning, and the right drying time then you have done all you can do.

I don't do Auto's.

They're bootsy. Look around the sick plants forum and watch for all the sick Autos. 2 out of every 3 fucked up plants are Ruderalis genetics and that is why I wonder where so many people get the idea that these plants are a good idea.

I guess 12/12 is your only option if you want bud.

Looks Good, I would just keep an eye on it. If u see a sack it will look like a tiny egg on a tiny branch. Then Pull or throw it in the back yard.

@snowcrash, would u have any idea as to what this could possibly be? I started a thread in the newbie section but no definate answers. Please help thanksphoto[2].jpg

Snow Crash: Thank you for replying. I use the correct lighting. I have a 400 watt Metal Halide in vegging and a 400 watt HPS for flowering. My water temp is low. You mentioned using Gravity. What is that? Also, all my plants were direct strains from direct companies but all the stuff tastes and looks the same. Why do you think that is? I use Fox Farm nuts but I was thinking of switching over to General Hydroponics.

One of my friends said there is a technique to making white rhino where you wrap cellophane around a flowering plant in such a way so that it doesnt kill the plant but so that it collects the moisture etc. then once a whole bunch of highly thc concentrated moisture is collected you spray the plant with it just before harvesting
i wanna know how much truth there is to this technique. and if it's legit, how do i wrap it properly?
thanks

THC is not water soluble, so that is completely wrong. Plants need to breath, plastic will kill them in that manner you suggested.
