Who here does NOT FLUSH!

I don't flush my plants. A fine cigar is lit with a wooden match, not a butane lighter. I would think that if a few flushers and non-flushers learned how to light their ganja in a proper manner, they may actually learn something about taste. In the end, they are your plants, you do whatever you want with them. If flushing works for you, have at it.

Unfortunately on occasion(birthing/sorting/preg checking ect...)you do get a mouth full. And I can tell you its does not taste like a 'mater...
 
Eggplants, tomatoes, lettuce, carrots, broccoli, beets, peppers, and herbs all eat the same shit. They all taste different. Plants, like all living things, absorb ions, or compound ions, and rebind them to other anions or cations, or even manipulate covalently bonded compounds to build necessary electrolytes, proteins, lipids, and carbohydrates with in itself. You are tasting those proteins, lipids, and carbs. If anything, having nutrients available for the plant until the very end will aid in resin content and increase the flavor...Flushing you plant is a great way to starve it when you are trying to stress it out and swell the shit out of it in the last days. Bad idea.

People that concerned with their health should not be smoking pot. You really want to protect yourself? Don't eat anything that has a company name on it. Worry about the "minerals" in your pot after that.
On top of that, if you are so concerned about the contents of your bud, water cure your pot and loose 85% weight and all flavor.

I didn't used to flush but after handwashing my 5 gallon smartpots and seeing all the brown nutrient that came out of just the emptied out smartpot, I'll be flushing from now on. Once 30 days into flower and then again at the end of flower. Of course having a drain and a practical way TO flush sure makes it a lot more attractive of a practice.
 
I'm sick of arguing. "I" flush my plants because "I" like the taste of the final product better than when "I" don't. I have done both. It's all a matter of personal preference, you can do whatever you prefer whether flushing or not. I'm not gonna hold you back. "The End"
 
whos arguing we are all saying what we do not putting a gun to your head and making you not flush.. to each there own..
 
If not arguing, there seems to be people getting pretty defensive over then subject. Personally, I have had mixed results depending on what strain I'm growing. I do flush though. Every time I have not taken the time to flush, my bud always turns out a little harsher and never quite burns right. Just my observations.
 
some1 who isnt going pure organic. or some1 growing BOMB, with A full blown Nute Set. Should and Most Likely will FLUSH.. any Vet grower here in Cali who CARES about their MJ will tell you, if you dont flush your not doing any Favors to ANYONE. Some ppl May only use 2-4 bottles of nutes.. thats Diff than using 10+ Diff Nutes + Ferts. You would need to flush cause you CAN SMELL BUD THAT HASNT BEEN FLUSHED. CHEMy Smell

Funny? you have never had a batch of bad chemy MJ? that wasnt flushed? I am a caregiver for a dispensary and I can tell you that we Purposely Keep the Display Room Clean& Air Filtered so you can Smell each bud properly. I know Plenty Fanatics who will DECLINE ON BUYING MJ CAUSE ITS SMELL. The CHEMY SMELL SOME PPL MISTAKE FOR BEING "Potent" i know my bud

Some ppl Like smoking anything and Mistake non-flushed bud as more "potent" when its actually not. Just like How you prolly believe HOLDING it in reallll long is getting you that much higher too.. that high is called oxygen deprivation my friend.

no, i have had sum nasty buds that was grown in a room with no air flow or ventalation.. that waz sum nasty shit.. tasted musty..
 
I flush with AN and find the final result taste more true and less chemicals. I have tried not flushing and found the taste not too appealing. I did this on Black Jack and Grand Master.
 
Well, Here in cali. Where shitty bud is a thing of the past.. PPL take is seriously and i know first hand their is a Diff. some ppl dont care and vouch for the Chemy Taste. I personally do not, But I could Tell you a batch of bud that has been flushed and one that has not when grown under the same conditions.

I dunno about you.. . but Flush Wins. Non-Flush is for PPL who most likely slack on other growing issues. I dont know who in the world would PURPOSELY not Flush. Theirs always a REASON, Time.. Forgot.. .Plant Dying who knows but Not flushing on purpose means its not some TopNotch Grow to begin with
