DSC_0550.JPG DSC_0548.JPG DSC_0546.JPG all the beans are in. Not going up to my veg room until they pop. Until then they can stay where I can see them and can make sure they stay around 24c to try and get them to germ a bit faster. I know this says white widow x big bud. They're in the 4 1 gal pots. The hindu kush and NL x chronic are to become mothers.

Looking good Colanoscopy!

I am gonna sprout some bagseed in some coco, because I wanna see how it does :)

I also may throw some bagseed outside just to see what happens lol.

Will see how many germ out of these. Hopefully all. My method may be a bit dodgy but last run germed every seed no issue so should be alright. The hindu kush is getting me the most excited out of these. Plus there's a big market my way for indica cuts

Seems to me you have the basics covered for coco, you got calmag that's all you really need, I have always ran coco, straight from the bag, I just feed as n when the plant needs it, don't let it dry out completely. And you'll be sound! I've found with coco a layer of clay pebbles on the top of the coco makes easier watering and you don't get a divet in the top 3inch of coco.. anything I can help you with give me a shout

I'm under the impression that coco will be a lot easier to flush should I need to. And to watch out for calcium being leeched by coco. Just finishing up my first run now in soil. That's gone alright as a learning curve at least. But fuck me its slow growing in soil. You notice much difference in veg timescales in coco? Think poor drainage in one of my pots stunted the plant too. Awful thin stem. And it's pretty clear that a thin stem leads to thin buds now

I'd normally veg for 2 months or 8 weeks then flip to flower for 8-10weeks, I've always done that as well, coco is far more forgiving imo, as for them timescales you said about I don't really understand what you mean, drop about and inch or 2 of clay pebbles in the bottom of your pot for good drainage, but if your using fabric pots I wouldn't bother I never do anymore only if I'm using plastic pots.

Timescales were if you were to veg to a certain size rather than a certain length of time. If that makes a bit more sense. I've seen the difference between soil and dwc for growth. I was wondering if coco was the kinda middle ground between them. I use plastic pots myself. Fabric pots look untidy in my opinion. My pots are already potted up in 1 gals with seeds in now so if I have to add pebbles it will be during the repot to 3 gal pots i reckon. Appreciate you taking the time to answer what may sound like daft shit mate

Hmm can't say I have really looked into that, sometimes I'll not go in the tent for a few days and I'll notice considerably growth, I'd say you're about right with coco being the middle ground between soil and dwc, have tried dwc myself and failed with root rot, so I went back to coco and have stuck ever since.

Fair point on the fabric pots looking untidy I'll agree on that but they out perform plastic pots by a country mile.

No problem adding the drainage to the next 're pot it will help in flower.

I was once in your boat just starting with coco, I asked all sorts of silly questions, but once you know what works and what doesn't you'll have fun growing in coco.

Couldn't cope not sticking my head in everyday lol. What do you think of air pots. They any good for coco Dya reckon. My hydro shop punts them like no tomorrow. I am excited about growing in coco this time. Got a mate that thought it was bright running dwc in his loft. (old victorian house with high af ceilings and no water tank up there. Safe to say he's having many issues) the only real silly questions are the ones that are never asked mate. That's how we learn Init
