ok doing a grow of a white widow X NYC deisel bought from Dr chronic and ONG they are like six foot now i mean they are tall nearly as myself and im having to tie them down slightly!! - just wondering if for my next grow anyone got any recommendations on smaller more bushy types i mean dont want something as small as lowrider was just thinking of some that only grew to say 3ft or there abouts? with similar type of high as the widow (the type where you know you,ve smoked some good weed:hump:) so any recommendations of seeds etc will be much appreciated

Tying them down is a good idea but if you start from the beginning they'll always grow out because that's all they know how to do, so that would be my best advice

for shorter indoor grow with WW, seedling stage for 10-14 days, veg for 2 weeks, top, veg for 2-3 more weeks and then flower, you will have shorter bushier plants.

I am curious now. I have some widow plants. I have never had a height problem, 3' height max. What is going on? VV

I had some 7' WW but I vegged for a month or so. Sometimes there are variations in the seeds or the seed producer that causes the different attributes not to mention all of the grow conditions that are all very different.

Probably favoring a bit more on Indica side than Sativa side. Dont forget its a hybrid.

My 1st batch grew tall....Another batch of seeds produced shorter plant like you described.

In my 3 hydroponic grows of different strains, I found Jack Herrer the best low profile. Also used "Bush Master" in veg stage for both Jack & WW. The WW still grows tall, but a bushier plant with more bud opportuities if groomed. Requires less plants in the grow room for spreading.
