which gives the user more THC per gram: tincture, smoke, or canna butter?

If this hasn't been determined scientifically, then let the more experienced among you toss out some guesses.

Pretty please?

assuming all other conditions are PERFECT ???
Yes, assuming that all other conditions are perfect, and that the canna butter and tincture were properly made, and that they were made from the same batch of marijuana that the joints come from.

Lemme break it down for you:

Hash will bring you bar none the most THC per gram.
Cannabutter will depend on the amount of butter used....less butter gives a better ratio.
Tinctures will give a better ratio than butter....but the effects are way shorter.
Smoking will give the worst ratio....there is no refinement so it is what it is (unless you smoke hash).

Thanks for your replies. :)

But I don't know if you guys understand what I mean. Let me explain better.

Lets say I have 3 ounces of marijuana bud from the same plant. Just plain old skunk. It is properly cured. I make canna butter with 1 ounce. I make tincture with one ounce. (I use the best recipes for both.) The remaining ounce I will smoke.

Now, what I need to know is basically, if I get high three times a day, which one will last me longer: canna butter made from an ounce of bud, tincture made from an ounce of bud, or an ounce of bud smoked?

I mean, if more thc can be extracted from an ounce of bud with butter or alcohol, than by smoking it, that's what I need to know.

Thanks. :)

id have to say hash!! if made correctly it will have the most thc per gram!!
Hash is not an option for me. Only canna butter, tincture or smoke. And this is what I'm trying to find out:

(I actually don't toke, but the info will be used for a relative who doses for medicinal purposes).

Thanks.

i'd say it depends on the person ingesting it and what they are looking for out of it. eating it will give the longest lasting effects but it may take a little more than smoking. smoking will give immediate results but needs to be constantly smoked for one to stay affected. i'm not too familiar with tinctures.

(i toke a lot)

Maybe I can help.

I vape everyday and have a longer smoother high than if i was hitting a jay or the bong, but i still do every now and then)
When i eat mary, it takes anywhere from 45 to 90 to kick in (that is from my experience). But the high is way way better and last for hours on end. I recommend making more cannabutter. Use 2 oz for the cannabutter, and vape the other.

The reason I need to know is economical. Bud is expensive, so I need to know how to get the most THC out of an ounce. It's not the quality or length of the high I'm concerned with. It is which method extracts more THC out of an ounce of bud: making canna butter, making tincture, or burning (smoking).

Well this is how i get the most out of an ounce. I will vape the ounce and save the remains. After i have saved up about an ounce of remains i then make cannabutter, and the shit is potent still.

I can vape .3g three times and get pretty high off of it. Then save it. Use all it.

Ingestion will not be as efficient, it always uses more, thee best method described here is buffulosoulja's where you vap it, then make cannabutter out of the scat. The cannabutter is still VERY potent, but a good vaporizer is going to run between $300 and $600 USD. If your friend is looking at those three options as a legitimate medical patient, then he/she should consult their doctor as to the best method and dosage for them, as anectdotal evidence on a forum is not a true perscription. One ounce, in a vaporizer smoked three times daily would last about three to four weeks. However, fdd is right about dosage....a medical user will have to smoke more than three times a day once they have built up a moderate tolerance (and depending on their illness).

Hi there. :)

It's a relative, and this is Texas. There is no such thing as a legitimate medical marijuana patient here, LOL. But doctors will kill you anyway, so to hell with it.

TCH is one of the best things for what she has (beginning stages of Alzheimer's). There is nothing that a doctor here can prescribe (including Aricept) that is as effective at slowing the disease. This has been proven, and broadcast on respectable news channels. But it makes me so sad that the government doesn't care, and doctors here don't seem to know much about marijuana.

Considering the vaporizer and canna butter. I'm hoping to get more input before making a decision, though. Anyone else want to weigh in? It is all appreciated, I promise you.

Thanks.

After all this time, I have my answer.

Green Dragon tincture, using the hot method. When you make the stuff right, you get more doses from an ounce of bud, than you do with the best cannabutter, or vaporizer. Many more. :)

The only problem is you have to be more careful with titration if ingesting it. Smoking or vaping, and titration is fast and easy. But if you bite off too much of the dragon, it bites back. Take care. :)

i'd have to say the buds themselves contain the most thc per gram if you are excluding hash/kief.
