Where to buy SF-2000 in UK?

One day hydro shops might start stocking them, cheap delivery or just collect in person.

If you have to order from Germany and pay tax and delivery I would look at what's in this country or use CMH HPS till things change.

Yh I know what you mean, on amazon the sf2000 is £350. on spider farmer website it's £219 + £44 delivery. So still cheaper to buy through spider farmer but I know that £44 for "Delivery" is excessive, I wouldn't of minded if it was being sent from USA where they don't even charge as much as that for delivery but it's the wait times ordering that way. I might just grab the Mars tsl2000 £225 free delivery within 2 days. I'm slightly put off spider farmer because I Messaged them today, they've read message and not even bothered replying so seems customer service is abismal. I've also seen questions asked on here that they have completely ignored. What a way to run a business :wall:. I'm also debating going back to hps as these LEDs seem to be missing UV. Approximately £150 for MH/HPS with hood that does everything.
HI dear, already replied to you.
Because of time difference, for business days, we will reply in 24 hours. Hope for your kindly understanding.

Hey folks,

I've still not purchased a light yet, the SFRIU code is 3% not enough saving to even be able to buy the smallest amount of weed where I'm from lol. But better than nothing i suppose, I've moved on from thinking about buying SF/MARS. I've come across these quantum boards, I spoke to the seller he said he will do me 2 of these for £300. I will upgrade lights again after summer let me know your thoughts.Screenshot_20210130-102358_eBay.jpg

Update,

As of today upon checking spider farmer website the price of the SF2000 has increased and the delivery charge has now more than doubled. Seriously wtf? Glad I've moved on from that then.20210130_111337.jpg20210130_111001.jpg

I've seen the YouTube videos of this guy, just yesterday I watched one where he compared the heat between a 600w hps without hood with a 400w migro light. The results was hps 37c migro light 34c. So if he had compared a 600w migro light it would of run hotter than the hps. I thought but if you put air cooled hood on the hps it would of run cooler and could be moved closer so I saw no reason to buy the migro over a hps.

ive been using a migro aray 4 and i can only say im impressed with it although its the only light ive used. i too see no reason to change mate, horses for courses lol but it does score better than a sf2000 during testing for light output and usage cost and i can control the heat in the tent by keeping the driver outside.

Damn 130£ shipping?! Where do you live man? On top of Mount Everest?
I really don't get it, it's sent from a place in UK called Southall. It will be sent to an address also in UK that's only 128 miles away. And this apparently costs £130 yh right. So now to buy an SF2000 in UK will cost almost £400 it's outrageous who would pay that? They won't sell a single light in UK for that price.

Ask the customer service if you can go pick it up yourself lol
Lmao you could actually drive there and back from anywhere in UK and still wouldn't cost that much. It takes around 6hrs to drive literally from one end of the country to the other.

Why don't UK hydro shops stock them? Is it because the shit advertising and aggressive company?

Follow suit till our industry has enough trust in those idiots, until then your going to get ripped off and can just buy a quality CMH with no delivery cost.

Not sure about your experience but my local hydro shop is more expensive on just about everything outside of soil.

Lights, tents, nutes, fans, ducting, and so on.

I still buy alot there but it's more of a support your local businesses type thing.

This is the same as UK.

UPDATE,

I went with hps with XXL hood for now, tried tested and proven for year's. I'll run the LEDs for veg and hps for flower this will do a good enough job. I'll upgrade to a decent led when I can afford it, In the end i thought no point wasting money on a led that doesn't cover the area I need it to.
