Thank u, I really appreciate that u took the time to look.. I found them a few days ago and they are out of business. I did find a site called newagegardening.com froim that website tho, and they had a bunch of distributors of Fytocell. A lot of them are non existing or dont carry it anymore so I am filtering thru the list now. I found one place that will ship 3 100L bags for $250, and another that will ship 4 50L bags for $200. If anyone is interested PM me and i will give the phone numbers.

does coarse perlite act like a sponge like fytocell and you only have to flood it a half inch or is it more like hydroton rocks and you gotta flood it until the water touches the actual plant?

what about one of these mediums dankhoe? let me know what you think

I checked out the sure to grow media blocks at my local hydro store. They are really light and fluffy. I think they are basically spun polyvinylchloride fibers. They are too expensive for my taste. I sent an inquiry to Aqua Resins Technology to find out if there is a current supplier in the US for Fytocell. Wl post what I find out. Honestly, i will likely go for the chunk perlite if I have to. It holds moisture well and is airy enough, and especially cheap enough.I did not like coco. My own opinion though. Plus, i am finishing a build on an AlBFuct perpetual grow, but in independent NFT tubes so I can move their arrangement based on their status in flower(quick connected). When i finish and get it running, a journal will follow.
Just sucks on the Fytocell because i am saving the last bit I have to use on the Sweet Tooth x3 when it gets here.

Dont have first hand experience w it. Comrade of mine uses it and has great results. Will ask him. I have just been checking it out at local store. My mew setup will be NFT in 3.5inch pots, so absorbancy is not a huge issue for me in that respect. I will ne putting rockwool mini cubes in the very bottom.

Ok, I just got off of phone with Francisco Alvarez with GreenTechnologies USA. He said that GT is the exclusive disributor for Fytocell products in the US. The current Fytocell product is being produced in Mexico City and is being sold in the US as Hydroflakes+. They should have a distribution center in Houston, TX by next year and will have an online store in the next 3 weeks or so.
When I get home, I will try to attach some info I received from him (brochures, prices, etc.). I did mention to him the rather large interest in this product in the US. Anyone who wants to contact him directly, his email is:

Hope this helps!

Ok, here is some info he sent me today. Stuff is listed pretty damn cheap. I put a calendar reminder in to check on the site in a few weeks.

TREE KING - I am not sure where it will ship from. I am going to guess from their Houston, TX site. The explanation he had for all of the other hydro distributors dropping it was the enormous shipping fees to get the stuff from their Australian division. So this guy had the processing equipment shipped to Mexico City and uses that production plant to process everything that will be sold in the US. I have a couple of PDF's that I could upload, but cannot figure out how to get it to RIU. Any help would be appreciated.
The brochure is a great read and it is amazing that they can laydown a grid of pex line for thermal heating and blow a layer of this on top and create fields of hydro grass.
