superior growers supply is pretty decent and not too far from you, its at 7mile and middlebelt. i wouldnt necessarily call them marijuana friendly as it is a grow supply store, for growing of things like tomatoes or w/e as well. though if you tell them you have your card they will knock 10% off, and typically will anyways... honestly though i prefer to order online unless i need something immediately...

Another reason why our economy sucks. Spend your money here instead of some random .com site. I know I can get stuff cheaper online but I prefer to spend my money locally, and pay cash, so there is no digital trail of my grow purchases.

Technically none as Federal law still applies to them.

Don't ask don't tell. A plant is a plant, you don't need to mention MJ.

There's Hydro Harry's in Hazel Park. Its on Dequindre S. of 9 Mile. Or the Cultivation Station on Little Mack and Harper in SCS.

Cultivation Station hands down. At the corner of Allen rd and Southfield. 10% discount for paperwork or your card. Everything you need! They have complete packages 1000 watt systems for about $280-320 with the magnum xxl and paperwork can probably get out the door for $380-450 depending on the bulb

their website sucks, but they have everything you would find in a sunleaves catalog

LOL what? how is this a reason are economy sucks?? Hes still putting his self earned money back into the community rather it be a local hydro shop or a hydroshop in a different state. The economy downfall responsibility is the work of decades of goverment corruption not cuz someone wants to buy something online. :/

htg on Telegraph is good but grow green hydroponics on Telegraph and West Chicago is also a good store.I bought my 2x1000 hps setup for my flower room there and got a 15% discount.

I was referring to why Michigan's economy sucks worse than most other states, not the nation's economy. Keep ordering your crap online, don't let me stop you. Luckily for you the fed's don't monitor online purchases for grow gear.

Play the fed card. I don't work outside the law as do 99 percent of the people that are in the program now that did this illegally before. I wont pay 100 dollars more for a setup because the store is in Michigan. Money in my pocket not yours...lol

Which shop do you work for btw.

yea as other people have pointed out, thats not the reason michigan economy sucks. i go where i get the best prices, the brick and mortar places are good for the odd and end that i end up needing... like the milwaukee ph pen i had to run out to replace, which i got from SGS, however the quality control test was done back in 2009 so its been in stock at their place for a while, now i have to let it sit around in water for about a week before it will even work right... this shit is money out of my pocket, and the lower overhead i can get the better. grow shops and equipment manufacturers engage in price fixing of some manner, as equipment manufacturers are beginning to enact minimum sales prices to shelter the grow shops. grow shops have their niche, but i dont believe if someone is making a 10kw setup purchase they should be running down there to pay top dollar, that would be fucking stupid. here is an online distributor that has amazing prices:

the have caught beef over going below the prices that manufacturers are trying to force them to set.

as for local grow shops i wont lose any sleep over their business as their prices are marked up heavily. they are there to capitalize on people that cant afford to leave a digital trail, as for me, i dont give a shit about all that, so i will buy my major gear online.

If you wanna drive north an hour or so to flint we have a lot of grow shops and they are all mj friendly, some even sell bongs and papers also lol...they all give 10% discount to compassion club members and/or cardholders - its usually about the same price or less online after the discount so its better then ordering imo

Im from Flint also and would like to know where these cheap shops are up here. I go to Urban personally and for anything other than nutes/small shit the prices are insane compared to online. Last week for example I bought a 6" inline from there for $150 before discount, same fan online I found for $80 at plantlightinghydroponics.com. But yes, I do agree that they are all mmj friendly up here more than one store has had employees show me pics of their grows.
